No sense listening to TSN radio while watching on TDS. The TSN feed is delayed so they're calling something that happened a minute ago. Odd.
Sigh again. Bourque is such a dud.

In a way I don't blame that Ranger for complaining about the call. Not that it wasn't tripping, it most obviously was so. But why does the far ref make that call while the guy standing 15 feet away and it happens under his nose, doesn't call it? Is it an 'unofficial rule?". Doesn't matter. Our PP sucks and Therrien won't change it up.
Well, they got it going that time. TAke some shots boys, it actually works. No goal, but it looked much better.

Emelin with a weak pass to Bouillon results in two great looks for the Rangers.
Gorges with a muffed pass in our zone just before that
Bouillon with a pass to no one before that.
Yet, why does Subban seem to have the only error spotlight?
Too many unforced errors tonight.
That's what's troubling me. Do that against Stamkos, Palat, Hedman, Brewer....and the red light is on.

At least Price appears to be focussed entering the playoffs.

PK has been playing very steadily tonight. I'm really annoyed that Tinordi is out (as usual). Then, he'll get thrown into a critical situation, not do well and be blamed for not progressing quickly enough. Gallagher takes an awkward hit. Why can't Bourque or Cube take an awkward hit?
Whew, he's back. Like Nicholson.

Now Gallagher favouring his knee after colliding with Carcillo.
That didn't appear to be an accident on Carcillo's part....
EDIT: BGal's back on the bench....whew!

Now PK is going to have a cheap call against him for a shove from behind. It wasn't a hard hit or a bad one. Dorsett fell, didn't it the boards. Just a call that the ref thought he had to make because..... he was bored? I dunno. He's an twit, I guess. Lots of those around these days.

That play will be used as an example of why people hate Subban. Three or four crosschecks to Dorsett while he was down.
Then Dorsett gets up and sucker-punches PK....which his haters will say he deserved.
Like Cherry glossing over Dorsett's "kind of a cheap shot hit" on DD....while focussing more on Bouillon not being called for instigating and not taking off his visored helmet.

He should not see a second of playoff hockey.

Bournival is playing well. Defensively, he's made more than a couple of good, solid plays and offensively he is a going concern. Our problem appears to be that after the DD line, there is little offensive creativity. It really show how much Eller and Galchy are missed from that standpoint. Not that Eller scores a lot, but he does at least have some moves and a lot of speed.

That attempted knee on Subban was his second of the game. I have no problem at all with PK going after him. The guy deserves a drive by elbow to the chin.

I missed the attempted knee on Subban....but I wouldn't doubt it. He for sure tried to take out DD. (But I stand by my point: ha! PK haters will be all over it.)
Imagine Dorsett and Carcillo against the Flyers, especially seeing as Carcillo is an ex-Flyer?
That's going to be a war.

PLeks has to get that backhand up. Right idea, poor execution. We're making TAlbot look like another Vezina.

Came at PK, knee clearly out. BTW, now about 110 minutes without a goal. Going into the playoffs on a high note.

We're making TAlbot look like another Vezina. Not with only 17 so-so shots, we're not. He's had about 3 tough saves all night. There's been no sustained net-intensity on our part aside from that last PP.

That Plekanec shot was about the only real test. Once a team has clinched they should charge less for the tickets because these guys don't look like they are trying too hard.
