In this day and age, this is the sort of thing that will go viral around the world particularly if the Habs go far. But the 'suits' will never get it. Had to laugh at the Globe and Mail today as they said "It was immediately dubbed 'the macarena'". Huh? Pretty sure it was dubbed the "maRcarena". I guess that's a little too clever for the Globe folks in TO to catch onto. I could see all the fans doing this after goals at the Bell Centre during the playoffs now. good laughs all around - MB too. Wouldn't it be great if the players started doing this after goals - sure beat the stupid skate by the bench hi-fiving everyone. Some places are content with waving white towels AGAIN! But Montreal always being on the forefront of all things hockey culture will run with the fun of all this. I could see PK having fun with it. Unfortunately MT will immediately put the.kaibosh on it MT can't put the kibosh on 21,000 fans! It's going to be fun. What would be cool is if after the initial explosion after a goal everyone just starts doing the Berg. It almost looks like a sorcerer casting a curse on the other team!

In that case, they'd better have somebody on set who knows the Heimlich maneuver. Classic ... Go Habs Go!!!

PJ Stock is such a tool ... the 1st 10 minutes of teh preagme all he can talk about is Lindback was great and Price has been terrible. Then its on to Hedman ... etc.
to quote Bugs Bunny (as it's Easter) ... "what a maroon"
RDS ... here we come!

Healy just going on about the Lighning & how they they played their worse game of the season in game one. Doesn't matter that he probably saw a handful of their games. We're just supposed to believe his blather.

Oh what a night*! My Habs playing the Bolts and my Bombers playing the Rays in TB. Let's go for a sweep of the double-header!

Pretty much what I expected early. Team loses game 1, comes back with all guns blazing early in Game 2. Key is to hold the fort, keep scoring chances to a minimum and counterattack smartly. TAke their blows and then grind them down.

Lindback is not quite so nervous tonight. They must have given him a shot of valium. Get the shots, up guys.

Good back check by Bourque (Yes, that is me, no alien has taken over my body, though if it had it wouldn't admit it anyway).

Gotta hold them off here after that breakaway save by LIndback. They'll be pumped and we have to deflate them. Gionta didn't get the puck up after the deke. LIndback did not make a great save, though it looked like it.

I'm liking our play so far. Good backchecking and we're not playing a passive game. We are attacking and our transition game has been pretty good. Just have to keep this up and we'll take these guys.

Gionta goes to the back hand deke but shot it back into Lindback's body, not to the side of the post ...

Survive their early flurry. Take control with patience.

I like Montreal's checking and positioning so far. Perhaps Therrien has been taken over by aliens. Who is that guy behind the bench and why is his team playing a disciplined style?

You'd think by the commentary the Habs are holding on yes Tampa is playing better but at no time have they dominated or had any dangerous shots....shot totals don't always tell the game. Habs playing a little more conservative... hope they don't sit back too much but they are playing better defensively...good first so far given Tampa has to play better....PP coming up this would be huge to get back on the snide.

No, no aliens. Still MT. To get the PP going why not put out Brieres liine to start. The first two are sucking, give someone else a chance.

Therrien now has the Gallagher line out there on the PP. Better puck movement but no dangerous shots.

That looked funny. The 9' 10" linesman debating something with Gionta. Wonder what the chat was about? Period over, 11-10 shots on goal for Tampa. We had two breakaways, Lindback stopped both, but neither was what I'd call A-1 execution. He is much more composed than Wednesday, so it's critical we still beat him. The message should be, "Play your boots off, LIndback and we'll still beat you".
Off to the Wings/Boston game on TSN.
