Weaver pushed Gorges out....adn I'm ok with it. I think that Weaver knows that he is a filler and a mentor to the kids coming up so he will be a lot less of a problem then sitting or limiting Gorges. Ergo, goodbye Gorges. As for keeping it quiet, well, it just proves that The Berg has stolen and implanted some of Pollocks hair follicles. Evil, conniving, ruthless, focused......pure music to my ears! Right you are HA! And it is soooo good to have someone like that back in charge! Sigh, happiness..... If he pulls one of those "we traded PK for Ekblad, Barkov and Bjugstav" or "Nurse, Hall and Yakupov", I think I will dance in the street ....naked. Great players can win games, great GM's can build empires.

Thanks guys for the feedback on Tinordi.
From the Gazette apparently from Bergevin's Press conference.
"Bergevin said he knew trading Gorges wouldn’t be popular, but added he wasn’t in the job to be popular. The GM said the acquisition of the right-handed Gilbert helped balance the defence and will allow Alexei Emelin to play on the left side. That suggested Andrei Markov and P.K. Subban will form the No. 1 pair next season. Bergevin said it was also important to create room for young defencemen Nathan Beaulieu, Jarred Tinordi and Greg Pateryn."
We have a consensus between the board & the Berg.....Berg the Borg.....couldn't resist.

They are first pair....Gilbert paired with Markov, Weaver paired with a rookie, while other rookie is 7th d-man and third rookie is depth in Hamilton.
