Price was definitely the factor. The D seemed to struggle, and breakouts were an issue. Turnovers. Bowman has impressed with every chance he gets. That was a slick pass to the streaking Beaulieu.

Tinordi is frustrating. What I'm seeing is either a guy who'll never get it together, or a guy who is still growing, and whose muscles haven't caught up to that growth yet. It is typical behaviour of many big guys who look awkward as hell until everything synchronizes and then they're really good.
He falls down too easily and just seems uncoordinated. Which is the real Jared Tinordi? Course, it would help if he wasn't trying so hard and for that I pin a lot on the coaching staff. They have to get him to relax and play 'within himself'. If he's not getting that help from us, he'll get it from his new team and punish us in the future.
He's been pinching at inopportune times and it's created offensive chances for the opposition. Why is he doing that? Either it's poor judgment (which you can't fix) or it's because of the competition and the fact he's trying to distinguish himself. Once again, which is it? I've seen him play much better than he has this preseason.

I find this about Pateryn, too, 17 ... I was looking at the TOI against Chicago last night and he played 20:20, to Tinordi's 19:47 and Beaulieu's 16:58 ... I guess he may have played a little extra than Tinordi but he ended up playing 3:22 more than Beau and, to me anyway, that's pretty significant (3/4 more shifts?) ... they're certainly giving him the chance to prove himself but I'm not so sure he's impressed enough to make the team ... I see Drewiski played 18:51 and I felt he played better than Pateryn ... as an aside, Darren Dietz is getting a good look ... he played 22:31, which was second-most on both teams only to Chicago's Norris winner, Duncan Keith, who was at 22:54 ... I feel bad for Pateryn because I really wanted to see him make an impact this year, but as BC suggested a little while ago, there's a lot of talented d-men on the way up ... and how ... I'll be in his corner until he's release, though; won't give up on him ... good luck GP ... Cheers.

Well, even if they can't make it with us, perhaps they can make it with another team and generate a good living for themselves.
