No game day Thread? Ok I started a very simple one. Habs diwn 1-0 in the 1st but I have no knowledge other than that because NHL.com has no info. I'm out of town and refuse to use up all my data on a video stream. Help me out guys. Thanks.

1-1. Galchenyuk scores with his backhand after the first attempt failed. Habs crushed the net after the Sens failed to clear their zone.

Through the magic of the Score app, I can say that Karlsson scored on s PP in the 1st, and now Galchy tied it up midway through the 2nd assisted by PK. My boy Alex doesn't seem to be having trouble scoring so far this preseason. And PK has been lighting it up with points. Good signs toward 240.

Cheers.

Tinordi's been given a fair amount of ice time today. How's he doing?

Things getting rough now. Neil goes after Pacioretty and then Subban drops the gloves with some no name.
Haven't noticed Tinordi much to be honest, which is probably a good sign.

Hope Bergevin saw that ... both his stars were taken out by Ottawa players ... Neil on Pacioretty (never would have expected that from Neil) ... who took out Subban? ... Subban actually had a chance to walk away from it at one point but chose to rekindle the fight and took a couple of shots for it ... not sure what set things off ... I'm not on the ice ...
Cheers.

Way for MacLean and Neil to remain classy. Let's send the goon out after the 40g man.

Haven't notice him either ... was the Thomas who took Karlsson with him on a dive ... man, just saw the replay of that cheap shot Parenteau laid on a Senator ... makes for bad karma ... Cheers.

Pacs and PK on the bench for Neil and no name.....very good trade off. Mikulek(sp?)/Ryan ganging up on AGal and Cowen with Plekanec is the kind off crap that makes me think we really do need an enforcer.......we are easy pickens!

I knew the teams switched ends for OT now but didn't know they were cleaning the ice too. Long break between 3rd and OT.

Galchenyuk left the game in pain. Hopefully minor.

I really hope Bergevin saw what happened tonight and addresses it ... two teams I can think of that don't have an enforcer are LA and Chicago ... they have guys with high penalty minutes, but they don't seem to have an enforcer ... Cheers.

Didn't see how it happened, hopefully indeed.
Emelin with a bad penalty, Sens quickly capitalize.
I was all in favor of Biznasty. IMO, the perfect 13th forward. Dress him, or someone like him, for the games against those you know are going to target your best. Preferably, it's someone who doesn't mind hunting if the opposition is inclined to do so against the Habs.

That call on Karlsson left me shaking my head ... then I saw one play that gave me hope for officiating ... an Ottawa player with a deliberate dive and no penalty was called ... no 'unsportsman like', no offsetting penalties ... just no call ... Galchenyuk was very impressive tonight ... didn't look like he was going all out ... thought he could have pushed it a bit more but it's exhibition hockey ...
