Caps very aggressive on the PK.
I fully expected them to play well in their home opener for their new coach.
Only 1-0 with about half the game left.

Sportsnet just picking up the American feed of this game. I hate these guys. No zero about the game. Sounds like they could be doing professional bowling Actually I believe they are the habs radio team doing the game. I could be wrong, they're definitely pro-habs. Sorry i stand corrected. This color guy is annoying though. Beats the heck out if loudmouth Healy though. Lol

I'dlike to see someone run Orpik through the boards...,legally.
Sekac looks pretty good with PLeks and GAlchy. Galchenyuk left someone's jockstrap in row 85.

Galchy looks a lot stronger this year, nyet? He's winning a lot of one on one battles and creating space in the process.

How does Orpik NOT get called for crosschecking DD?

Tide is turning. OUr transition game has picked up, our timing and passes are quicker and better, our backchecking is strong and we're overall at a much better pace. The Eller line is still problematic and I have the solution for that, but it won't happen right away.

How does Orpik NOT get called for crosschecking DD? Because the Canadiens are a bunch of divers.

Plays die on Moen's stick.

Nathan just showed us what he needs to improve on. He took a pass from Weaver along the boards behind the net, was too soft with the pass because he was more concerned with avoiding the hit from the forechecker than in making the pass. He turned away before he really had to and as a result the pass wasn't hard.
Yup, someone needs to take a run at Orpik.

Max just sidestepped a big check from Orpik.
Orpik's always had a nasty side to his game. He needs a tune-up.

Plays die on Moen's stick. I was thinking the same thing. I understand he is a veteran and all, but really, doesn't Weise or Bournival bring more to the table ?

Pacioretty gets lured into bad penalties too easily. He needs to keep a level head.

Good on Eller for sticking up for Subban ... he didn't hesitate either ...

A PP for WAshington is worth it IMO to send the message to Orpik. The boys will work hard to kill it.

BS. If they'd called Orpik for his crosscheck on DD, this garbage would likely never have happened.
Garbage from Chris Lee, as usual.

This is so different from last year. Most 2 minute PP's this year are 1 minute and 50 second PP's after we win the draw and ice it.

Plays die on Moen's stick. I was thinking the same thing in the exact same words. Ugh. Speaking of ugly, Trotz should be kicked out of the league for turning the greatest sport in the world and making it almost as boring as lawn bowling.
