We need a 5 on 3 or something to break this ineptitude on the PP.

How could they possibly call a dive there?

Goodnight.
Tampa has played well....but we did ourselves no favours....from the net out.

A momentum killer ... Subban to the box ... we had the momentum up until that last Stemkos goal ... check that ... the 3rd Stamkos goal ... Hedman with four points ... and he's in my pool ...
Cheers.

Very tough to come back against TB tonight ... not writing our club off, but it's huge task ...

Their PP has worked, ours hasn't. That'll do it.

Bourque draws a penalty ... no option, have to score on the 3rd-period PP ...

Hmm, 3 goals down going into the 3rd, sounds familiar.

The PP is now 0/12 on the season....and not looking good at all. Come on, MT...that's why you get the big bucks. While it is 0 for 12 , about have those were shortened PPs due to us getting a Penalty while on the PP. We must lead the league in that

He's looked that way since the season started. Seemed stronger in the pre-season. I wonder if he's still hurt.

Bishop with a huge save against Pacioretty ... Cheers. Why go low against somebody as big as Bishop? It's such a low percentage play.

Their PP has worked, ours hasn't. That'll do it. We certainly have the talent for a decent PP. Find the answer, MT. You're being out-coached in that department.

wasn't happy with Galcehenyuk on theStamkos breakaway goal. He's on the forecheck against Hedman. Instead of laying on the body & maybe preventing the pass that breaks Stamkos free he just skated by.

Bleh, this one's in the books.. Oh well 3-1 going home. All's ok in the bigger scheme of things, but they really have a lot of work to do.

TB cashing in on all their chances ... Callaghan walks around Subban and it's good night nurse ... one more just to let the Habs know we're not done yet ... not impressed ...
Cheers.

I'm sticking around because I want to see if this club starts feeling sorry for themselves ... this road trip has been an emotional roller coaster ... want to see how they finish the game ...
Cheers.

If we were offered a 3-1 record going home to start the season after playing 4 games in 6 nights all on the road with a couple home openers as well. we would have gladly accepted. I'll cut them some slack for being tired or being flat, perhaps they're just looking forward to getting home to get some home cooking.

In fact this is probably for the best, they need to clean up a lot of things and start executing better, a loss like this gives Therrien lots to work with.

I read something about Price in practice and possibly favouring a knee. Can't recall where, though. Has he been so-so tonight? I though TB would be pumped to atone for the sweep in the playoffs and their PP has been really strong. The good news is that you can't count on your PP in the playoffs, because the refs let more stuff go. Would be nice if ours would score a goal this year, though. If I'm MT (which I'm glad I'm not), I'd put the 4th line on to show the rest of the team how you play a simple PP. Crash the net, and shoot.

Some bad habits bit them in this game. We'll see how they respond against Boston, who isn't looking too good at the moment.
