I'm still perplexed at Pacioretty's game re: lack of physical consistency. Some nights he just floats around, waiting for the play to come to him. Other times, he's banging in the corners and driving to the net. I know you can't play with the same high level of intensity all the time....but his switch flips to coast-mode more often than it should. When he's on his game he looks big out there ... when he's off, he seems to disappear ... would be kind of neat to see him walk around Chara to pot one ... Cheers.

The Habs look vulnerable to ANY team that puts in an effort. In this game and in periods of the earlier games they offered as much resistance as a corpse. boy did the Islanders put in effort tonight. and never let up. play that game film, MT . . . [that's the way to keep a lead. The Habs got unexpected (and undeserved) aid. Now I'm worried that the Islanders will trample the Habs.

It's not so uncommon to see forwards walk around Chara nowadays. Let's hope the Habs wake up and do it again (I'm not particular whether it's by Pacioretty or Weaver or anyone else)

His lack of consistency, and ineffectiveness when he floats leads me to think he shouldn't be wearing the 'C'. Joe Thorton has more leadership qualities - ouch.

and Cammalleri with his fourth goal of the season leads the Devils to a 2-1 W over TBay. ugh.

Yeah, I heard later that he was going to be paired with Jagr ... had I known that, either one of them would have been my on my fantasy pick list ... NJ playing some good hockey and no one in the media is really talking about that much ... Cheers.
