This isn't the 70's anymore guys, we're not going to just steamroll over teams, we just played a very tough opponent in Detroit who came to play, and their goalie was also very much on his game. There's a lot of parity in this league, and it's the good teams who end up winning the tight ones, even when not at their best.
I thought we played pretty solid, at least the game I watched, and the better team won again. 6-1 to start the season, that's the only thing that is equivalent to our 70 squads. I for one am very happy to be a hab fan right now, best part is we can only get better.

Pleky was the worst Hab in the face off circle tonight, at 59%!! The Mulhotra factor is huge.

I only watched the 3rd but I was not that impressed with Detroit. They were out shot 13-5 & didn't look like they were remotely interested in scoring. If that was teh Habs we would be reaming them for sitting on a lead.

If that was teh Habs we would be reaming them for sitting on a lead. The disallowed goal reaaly seemed to take the steam out of them. I saw a graph that showed the fenwick for the game and starting in the middle of the 3rd, we took over the game. It's like they went into Jacques Martin prevent mode.
