4-0 Bruins over the Leafs. Early in the third. 2 early goals. Bernier pulled. Reimer in. A common theme in Toronto ... revolving goaltenders ... I was sort of hoping the Bruins would beat them tonight ... just so there's no mistake, eh ... ... there's the insurance goal ... right on ... Cheers.

I'm not surprised Boston will win its first game after the Chara injury. a) they have a lot of incentive to prove they're a good team, even without Chara b) they're playing the Leafs.

Subban's stick held for about 3 seconds during that board scrum.
No call.

... b) they're playing the Leafs. Just so there's no mistake ... ... they were pretty visual on Facebook last year and this year it's pretty barren ... good to see Gallagher back on the ice ... Cheers.

Markov shows his strength on Hagelin. Rangers got a couple of lucky bounces there as the puck kept following the ranger despite being checked heavily and thoroughly. At least we're not giving up on our battles. Last 3 minutes. Lets' get another one, guys!

NOt sure I'd have the DD line out there as my defensive stalwarts. Even the Eller like is better as a 2nd choice after Malhotra.

Good solid win against a direct opponent. Nice to see Price continue his dominance over the Rangers. I still don't believe the Krieder collision was unintentional. He just lost his edge all too easily. Price was the single biggest difference on our teams (for now, as we're getting better everywhere else) and without him, the Rangers were different team, mentally. With him, they're losers.

Neither do the fans. I heard some kind of chant/taunt whenever Kreider was on the ice. Anybody make out what it was?

That between-periods show is pretty lame ... Cheers. Are you talking about that segment where they stand in front of a net with hockey sticks while George S. talks? Looks like an idea stolen from one of the NFL shows.

Looks like an idea stolen from one of the NFL shows. Was thinking the same thing. I was looking for Berman, Ditka, Carter and co. George hasn't fit in quite yet. He tried to jump into the conversation during that shooter vs goalie segment and all I can remember is Kypreos putting his hand up to shut him down. They were going ga ga over Kessel's ability to shoot flat-footed. With today's stick, it's dirt simple. Try that with a wooden stick.
