Just an aside...but I enjoy the lower camera vantage point that Edmonton and Calgary offer.
There aren't many rinks that put you in the premier seats. A different look at the game....closer to what the players see.

A different look at the game....closer to what the players see. I was watching low res streaming for the second but I did notice the closer look. I like what little I saw. Back in the day, when I was pretending to play scout at the Dogs games, I use to change my seats several times a game. Nothing like getting closer to the action.

The closest I ever got to the ice was seven rows up just offset from the penalty box ... completely different perspective on the game from that vantage point ...
Cheers.

I sat in the front row right behind the time keeper at the bell centre before. And a few times front row just inside the blue line. My favorite is just between the blue line and the net about 12 rows up....you're good and close and can see all the ice.

Any closer you can't see the whole ice, it's neat at first but it tires quickly.

Florida Panthers have the same low angle… good thing…it shows as few empty seats as possible.

Florida Panthers have the same low angle… good thing…it shows as few empty seats as possible. I'm at the game in Ottawa tonight. Black Hawks in town, so not a lesser team. Bus here empty. Outside empty. Scalpers begging for buyers. Could be in Florida or Air Canada Center the first 10 minutes of a period. LOTS of empty seats. Does not bode well for the team -- or Melnyk.

Kinda sloppy. Coupla garbage goals, one each. Hawks the better team but sens outworking them for the most part. Every goal has been in front of me. Sens in my end for the third.
Don't know who is reffing but guessing Chris Lee. horribly inconsistent. Obvious penalties let go, iffy stuff called.
And sens score on a terrible defensive giveaway

So why can't we ever play a goalie that can't stop a beac h ball? Some of the goals tonight were just awful.
But I'll tell you this - the habs would have lost to a hard working senator team tonight and they deserve the point or two they'll get.
