Our first line has once again been completely neutralized.
DD just blew another good chance trying to make a fancy move in front. DD with 0 shots....Max with 1.

All that initial pressure in our end because Patches made a bad clearance pass. The Markov turns it over, possible because he was tired. just a short, bad pass.

And another nice shift by Line 3....and it's 2-1. Eller scores after Sekac was stopped on a nice save.
Sekac screening....gets an assist along with Prust.

Eller must think he is in heaven not having to pull the Bork anchor.

What shift by Sekac, eller and Prust. SEkac has energized that line, which MT will take credit for. We deserved that.

All that initial pressure in our end because Patches made a bad clearance pass. 2 actually. but Markov can't have been thinking to put it softly up the middle like that

Ya we're bad but the reefing is not helping. Minn with a few interference no calls. And refs getting in way of our passes. But Markov, Max, Subby just don't have it and haven't had it for a few weeks. When your best play poorly you don't win! Like I said. On the Minn goal, Max had 2 easy chances to clear the zone and can't. Then we get it out and Markov with a ridiculous turnover. PK as well with ridiculous turnovers. Meanwhile in the O zone Max thinks he's Pavel Bure on the rush with trying moves - just shoot the puck

That 3rd line is so much better. Gallagher and Galchy are playing ok, now if PLeks would get his head out of his you know what and work a little harder, that line might be really something. I'm convinced DD and Patches need to be broken up. It might energize both of them. They shouldn't have to be able to punch their ticket to start on the PP without deserving it in any manner. There should be some uncertainty in their lives so that they work harder. Simple coaching, right. Adjust.
(Slaps head.) Why am I even bothering to say this? He doesn't read HabsRus and if he did, he wouldn't listen anyway. Because.

All that initial pressure in our end because Patches made a bad clearance pass. 2 actually. but Markov can't have been thinking to put it softly up the middle like that I can't remember that far back, (yes, Alzheimer's) but if Markov was on for that long shift because of Patch's poor clearances, then fatigue would have played a role in the turnover. IN any case, Markov is playing too much. And we're not even 20 games in. He's going to be useless by the mid point of the season.

Now 4-3 Rags with about 13:00 to go.
Please, no 3-pointer.
EDIT: Leafs tie on a routine shot from the point. Talbot!!!!!!!!!!!

Note to subban......stop thinking about the new Porche.....and start Subbinating.... Stop listening to the coaches and play your game. They can't get rid of you anyway. And if they stop playing you, they'll be gone in a flash. PS. Can you believe paying MT $2MM a year? Not DD,not Briere, no, MT is Berg's worst contract. And it will make it harder for Berg to do the right thing, for Eight Million reasons. Geoff won't like that.

Notice who was in front of the net on that last rush? Beaulieu. That might be fine if you're behind. Ahead, though, and the puck goes off the boards in teh other direction, suddenly he looks like an idiot, because he is. Why rush in that circumstance?

If anything Prust for goaltending interference.

Prust was shoved in by Niederreiter.
3-1.
But don't sit back.
Sekac with a very heads-up play along the boards....then going to the net to tap it in.

Third line making waves again? Prust takes a hit to allow Sekac to score. Good goal. Excellent work by the Eller line. Minus the Black Hole
