Senile announcer. Pasture time..... We've avoided him all season. He definitely is past due.

Sekac looks really good.
Bench Bourque until the playoffs.

Another great shift from Eller's group. Sekac makes room for himself.
Eller is energized by it. Prust will see some points, so he's inspired, too.
ESP line. They know where each other are going to be?
A bit premature on the link nickname....here's hoping MT keeps them together long enough.
And after it was 4-1, Millen decided to let us all know that the Wild are one of the youngest teams in the league. Now he adds the Parise absence.
Shut up, Millen.

That was a nasty crosscheck by Beaulieu with no call. I thought the refs let too much go. Just before Sekac's goal for instance, Neiderrieter(sp?) drove Prust into the cross bar on a dangerous move. Prust just managed to avoid going face first into the bar. The ref's arm never went up. Those last minute fights happen because guys want to settle scores for penalties not called.

Lemaire's 25 should be retired. Very underrated player. Scored a lot of big goals for Habs. The 2 cup winners, set up Lafleur for too many men goal. Also, scored a big goal in Chicago '71 Finals, and set up Henri for tying goal.

Also, scored a big goal in Chicago '71 Finals, and set up Henri for tying goal. For a long time I considered he and Brian Trottier to be the standard by which two-way centres were measured ... Steve Yzerman wasn't always a good two-way guy until Scotty Bowman coached him but he's up there, too ... I'd say, yes, he contributed just as much as Lapointe did and it would be interesting to see what numbers Lafleur, Shutt and Cournoyer would have put up had he not been their centre at one point or another ... I'm not saying that these guys wouldn't have been stars, anyway, but they had a great centre for a number of years and that was Coco ... Cheers.

Why dont we just retire as many numbers as we can ... Jacques Lapperierre (Calder, Norris, 5 Cups), Shutt (400 goals, 5 Cups), Toe Blake (Lady Byng, Hart, 2 Cups as a player, 9 as a coach, almost a point a gamer, they can lower the other two on the Punch Line and raise them together) etc ... and have the team to start wearing letters instead. Not A though, but I hear C is available. Instead of have 2 As and a C, we can have Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3. We can get that guy from Sesame Street to be our in rink announcer too ... "Goal today brought to you by the letter G - Alex Galchenyuk"

I was thinking the same thing, Skilly. There are so many deserving players that you might as well retire them all.
