Pretenders or Contenders? Very big test coming up this week, with six games in nine days, against some very good competition:
Saturday: Philadelphia Sunday: @detroit Tuesday: Pittsburgh Thursday: St. Louis Saturday: @boston Sunday: @rangers
Don't get much tougher than that!

I tell ya, I'm fearless when it comes to this kind of stuff!
We are going to win some.
We are going to lose some.
What I really care about is how we play with St Louis and Boooston.

Exactly cranky especially St. Louis, we always seem to have a hard time with their size and speed. At least we get the B's on the start of the back to back. It will be interesting to see how the B's respond at home next saturday.

The Pens seem to be able to edge us consistently too. They'll be a test.

The Pens still have that two-line attack of Crosby and Malkin. Big challenge for our D.
How many minutes will Gonchar get tonight? He may be of some value in strategy, as well.
Hopefully, Fleury is off his game once again. (We should've kept Moen…..ha!)

Saturday: Philadelphia - Win, 6-3 Sunday: @detroit - Win, 4-1 Tuesday: Pittsburgh - Loss, 4-0 Thursday: St. Louis - Win, 4-1 Saturday: @boston - Win, 2-0 Sunday: @rangers - Loss, 5-0
4-2 when all is said and done. I thought .500 would be a good showing, so I'm not going to complain in the least.
