Great pics, Dis.
Pretty sure I heard from yesterday's practice that if the Habs go with 6 D tonight, Gilbert will be the odd man out.
Markov, Subban, Gonchar, Emelin, Allen, Weaver.
Don't quote me on that.

Honestly, I'm expecting a close game ... don't know why ... Buffalo might just be a pain in the a$$ ...
Cheers.

Honestly, I'm expecting a close game ... don't know why ... Buffalo might just be a pain in the a$$ ... Cheers. They had won 3 in a row ( although one of those Ws was against the leafs) before they lost 2-1 to Winnipeg on Wednesday. Seem to be playing better since that awful start.

management must just hate this. Sabres management you mean? yup. they need Ls, not Ws if they are going to fight for roll over for "the great lottery pick".

Sabres management you mean? yup. they need Ls, not Ws if they are going to fight for roll over for "the great lottery pick". With the choice of McDavid or Eichel (for whomever picks second), the top two lottery teams are going to get a heck of a player. That is why I am hoping the Oilers can start winning some games. I am tired of their #1 picks and totally futility on the ice. I want them picking third or higher.

Tangradi will play tonight. And Gilbert gets to sit. 12F and 6D, what a concept.

It's a strong draft, it may even be better than 2013 (McKinnon).

Trying to pass within the box...not working....shot from the point....not working.
Buffalo's awesome 24th PK stymied us on the first attempt.
I know I know....5 days rest....getting our legs. Where's the rolling-eyes sarcastic emoticon?

Sabre gets in behind our D, Emelin called for the weakest one-handed slash you'll ever see.

PP notes.....DD losing battles ....Pacioretty isn't going to anything on the PP when he's stuck on the right perimeter.
Too much finesse from Galchenyuk....looking for the pretty play.....SHOOOOOOT!
0-2.

I can handle losing to the big guns...we should be all over the Sabres.
Can't afford to lose points to these guys.

5 periods without a goal....since the second period against Boston. Shutout too many times this year. Too many of these goaless streaks, getting frustrated watching Galchenyuk pass up shots.

Yep, also giving up the first goal and playing catchup is a recurring theme. I can't believe how putrid our PP is with the personnel we can throw out there. Especially on the road.

Teams aren't afraid to take penalties with a PP like that. On another note, someone needs to take the heat off Prust. He fought Rinalso against Philly & he fights Stewart tonight ( a fight these linesman let go on way too long). It can't be him all the time.
