Even though the Stars scored on PLeks' penalty, since then, he and the team have been more aggressive and playing better.

Andrighetto is having difficulty with the NHL speed. Took a good pass from Markov but didn't have a play ready in his head to clear the zone and turned it over. We're back to chasing and being behind the Stars.

Outshot 11-5 in the first.
12-6 in the second.....
Against the team that has allowed the most goals so far.
Lehtonen has asked for smelling salts to keep himself awake.
Another disgusting 40 minutes.
3-0....Seguin sneaks one past Price in the dying seconds...planned faceoff play.
Who did MT have out for that draw....DD instead of Malholtra.
Wow....Lindy Ruff must be laughing.

The Montreal Canadiens.... they'll cure what ails you.... if your a hockey team. Even Carey looks like he's given up.

Ok, Is that killer goal not all on Therrien? He puts DD out for a key faceoff in our zone? What is it with him and DD. HE's just opened himself up for a ton of deserved criticism. PLeks, Malhotra, ok. You're not really going to score with 7 seconds to go with the faceoff in your end. That who our leader is, folks.

Halfway through the game and the Stars have had 5 powerplays to our zip. Little one-sided And they should have had a major and game for the hit on Weaver which put him out of the game. Much worse than Tangadi's hit earlier this week.

I wonder how many of the players were thinking "why is Desharnais out for a key defensive zone faceoff? DD is sheltered to the utmost by Therrien, taking few if any defensive zone faceoffs because his possession stats there are terrible. So you put him in a position to fail, and he does. Duh.
Not goin anywhere guys, until the meathead behind the bench changes.

14:40 in....we get our first shot. Malholtra on a shorthanded breakaway....stopped. Malhotra has been great on faceoffs but he has to chip in goals now & then. 28 games, not a single point & is a -4.

MT is the boss and he feels DD is the best centre we have... it looks good on him. He gets something in his head and that's it... its there forever. When are the media weenies gonna call him out on this? I'm so peeved at these losers that i hope they fall out of playoff contention.

A key defensive zone draw, 4-on-4, in the dying seconds...and MT doesn't have Malholtra take it.
Even Pleks has been better on faceoffs tonight than DD has.
With today's technology, don't they keep in-game stats on the bench?

Blame Carey if you want, but that was some lackadaisical attempt by Max to get at Seguin. You could see PK pointing it out to him, Max was sleeping.

Yes, Max didn't get on Seguin....and Carey blew it too....but a coach has to start with his best faceoff man in that situation.

Lazy goaltending. Carey's given up because he sees what we all see. The team has gone backward and it's all about scoring. Part of it has to be the lack of speed on the D and the fact its easy to forecheck them because they can't carry the puck out,so you play the pass, all the time. I wonder if he was thinking about DD and Patches being out there instead of a good faceoff guy and not being focused on the draw itself? This team is in deep, deep trouble. The desire to do well has been lost.

MB needs to bring in someone to be captain because none of the guys with the A's deserve to wear the C that was worn by Jean Beliveau. I am so pissed I'm not watching anymore.... I'll watch Scrooged.
