Between periods, they showed a quote of Paul McLean's. It was:
"Every night I'm scared of who we're playing and sometimes, I'm scared of who I'm playing". What he was saying was that he had not a lot of confidence in some of the players he has to play. I wonder if Therrien feels the same way, especially from his defence.
I missed the hit on Weaver, but I feel exactly like that earlier post....Tangradi gets a match penalty for a questionable boarding call on a guy who didn't miss a shift and DAllas gets nothing for hitting a guy who misses the rest of the game. Maybe if Bettman got a cattle prod jolt each time one of his refs made a really bad call or non-call? Think it would be improved quickly?

I'd start the third with Tokarski.
Nothing to lose now.
At least these past 3 losses have been to Western teams.
And two more coming to town next week....Vancouver and LA.
This IS getting ugly.

Pacioretty and Galchenyuk on the 4-on-4....and it didn't look bad.
Benn makes a save on Galchenyuk's shot.....

Galch at centre. HE really should have scored there but put it way too far back toward the other side instead of hitting the empty part of the net. Sven scores!

Adrighetto makes it 3-1 with a nice move in-close.

Good effort on the backcheck by Sekac, even if he wasn't needed, that's a good sign.

Good for the ghetto-kid. Somebody other than Gallagher drove to the net with the puck.

That Dallas defense looks like swiss cheese when they have no time and space.

MT has switched up the lines, and the boys are playing better.
Leave them that way, please...even if we don't come back for a point or a W in this one.

Subban draws a penalty by rushing the puck....
A great opportunity to make a game of it....
With a TV timeout, let's see who MT starts with.
Galchy, Gallagher, and Pacioretty.

Paul Romanuk has more faith in the Habs than I do right now. If this effort had been there in the first 20 minutes, let alone the first 40, we'd be looking at a win tonight. And likely in Minnesota, too. At least MT changed up the lines and has Galchenyuk at centre. I sure hope he leaves him there. No excuse to NOT have him there, with Eller's absence. Two periods too late, MT.

Game over...Pleks takes a tripping call after the faceoff with 3:38 left.

The Habs will be hard pressed to hang on to a wild card position if they keep playing 20 mins a game

I've said it Over and over ...I'm not sure where Price gets the reputation as a good puck handler, he sucks at it. Stay in the net

Stay in your net, Carey......MT hasn't pulled you yet....
Now MT is pulling him because the faceoff is in the Dallas zone.
5-on-5 with an empty net.
Watch Seguin get the hat-trick.

Price is also playing more on his knees again ... I'm thinking that's a by-product of not trusting the defense.

Gilbert is on when we need a goal?

Three times they tried the same drop pass to the blueline, the third time Dallas was looking for it

Gilbert is on when we need a goal? Likely because we were killing a penalty....but I agree...we need goals.

Three times they tried the same drop pass to the blueline, the third time Dallas was looking for it If at first you don't succeed, try it at least four other times.

I've said it Over and over ...I'm not sure where Price gets the reputation as a good puck handler, he sucks at it. Stay in the net Agreed. He makes too many mistakes & crappy clearing attempts. How did he not see Benn at the boards. Really stupid play to cap off his average play tonight.
