I still love those original Kings purple and gold unis. Not quite as "fierce" as the black and silver look they have going, but I like the original look.

I always loved the shoe string tie down neck style jersey. It's retro and classic. It's my identification with all the great players in that time period. Why we ever got away from it, I can't tell, but I wish we could return to that era......if not in players, then at least to the jersey.

Yup the lace around the collar is a classic look. Remember the white skates....man would they get thumped at times allowing double digits.
Talk about thumping that would be something I'd like to see..the Kings deserve a good thrashing at the hands of our boys.
Go Habs h FTO

Just like against St.Louis this team needs to step up again and have a solid effort and most importantly a victory they need to take advantage of this light sched and regain those points in the bank.

I noticed the Kings play the PP like a basketball team. The swing it around the top to the opposite side and then throw it in front for a tip or deflection, ... , like an alley oop pass to the net

Doughty to the box for interference , Habs to their first PP
Subban credited, but should be changed to Sekac on review

Are the Habs really this under matched physically? ....the Kings are a way slower team yet they are spending the majority of the game so far in Habs end.?

Parenteau gets highsticked, stick almost in his mouth off the face-off ... None of the officials saw it. The way Parenteau fell down , I guess they thought he embellished, ...but geez, he had a stick raked across his teeth

Carter gets an interference penalty with 4 seconds left in the period. Desharnais takes draw, loses it, period over

It must be damn near impossible for 4 guys to miss that. A face off , 6 players within 15 feet of each other. Just what are the refs actually watching?

All they had to do is look at his mouth to see he got hit. What a freakin' league.

No game for me, but I saw the goal highlight on NHL.com and the key was quite obviously Ghetto crossing in front of Quick as PK shot it. Quick never saw the shot. Duh. I don't like the shots on goal, though. Is the ice tilted?
