Nice to get a win vs. the defending champs. Thanks again to all posters who kept the updates coming. Perhaps our scoring will stick around for a while. I'm not pessimistic. From time to time the Habs can do it. They scored 6 against the Bruins. Now that Sekac and Galchenyuk are up to speed it'll be easier. Andrighetto seems to be a new factor. Subban and Markov are finding their shots from the point. Pacioretty is streaky but he'll gwt his 30+ and Plekanec, Gallagher, and Parenteau can score.

This is a bitter sweet result. Glad we won because I hate Justin Williams but very displeased with our play overall. Once again, take away Carey and we lose miserably. That's a Leaf result. I want to win because we beat the Kings in every department. We outfaceoffed them today and that's all. They got more shots more hits more takeaways and fewer giveaways. Overall satisfied but far from happy. You think the LAK would have scored 7 goals against Tokarski? That's conjecture. Of course the Habs scored 6 goals against their backup but as I recall the last time the Habs faced Jones he mastered them. The best kind of revenge! So is this all to say that the Kings aren't much without Quick in the net? Seems I've heard the same about other teams. In fact, had Price not been run over by Kreider last year the Kings would only have one cup and some other team would have 25.

All I was saying was that the 2014-15 Habs are capable of lighting it up. Forget the stats. This edition is better than the one that was thwarted by the Rangers.
