MB's Xmas wish to Santa .... A second line left winger.
I don't see how we can go long with Andrighetto, Prust, Bournival in that slot.

off topic - 3-3 Toronto- Philly. Teams trade 3 goals in a 28 second span. Shots 17-9 Flyers. The pattern is surfacing again ... I think the Leafs responded the right way to fans throwing their Jerseys on the ice ... however, being out-shot every game is going to wear their goaltenders down ... 3-3 suggests to me that team defence is being thrown to the winds ... this was one of the reasons for the Leaf meltdown last year ... as for the game, the Habs have a better chance at dictating the tempo by scoring early ... Eller's line with a strong shift ... Cheers.

All that pressure, not a single shot.

Still relying too much on the rush to score. I'll take it, though. 2-1 good guys.

That's what a #1 line is supposed to do. Tic tac toe.

They've continued to work hard to this point in the game ... Habs seem to have a big percentage of puck possession ... they deserve to be up 2-1 ... no call on Gallagher ... not surprised ...
Cheers.

Sekac is quite the talent ... he pretty much does it all ... have to step on the gas just a tad more and put these guys away ...
Cheers.

Ottawa's going to hang around in this game as long as they can. 2 goals won't be enough.

Wow, both Beaulieu and Gilbert were dead in the water on that one.

How many times tonight have we gotten the puck to 8 inches or less from the blue line and not gotten it out? Five, six times?

DD on left wing seems ok so far, at least offensively. Defensively, yikes. And Gilbert and Beaulieu have had their tense moments defensively as well. .
