Didn't know that.... A lot of good it did. Ha! Even the stars can't do anything about it. But, do I remember correctly? I recall Bobby Smith as a tough customer when he had to be. And he didn't avoid the tough areas, either. He used to take a beating, .... But I don't recall him fighting much No, I mean he'd go into the corners, stand in front of the net, and take his lumps...mixing it up in scrums if he had to.

Bobby Smith and Mike Bossy were both proponents of anti-fighting rules Didn't know that.... A lot of good it did. Ha! Even the stars can't do anything about it. But, do I remember correctly? I recall Bobby Smith as a tough customer when he had to be. And he didn't avoid the tough areas, either. I just googled .... He got into quite a few fights. More than I thought

Best use of the personnel we have. "close willie close...but not quite there yet."

One step behind, bad passes in the neutral zone, too slow to generate anything offensively. Legs are definitely not working like they were on Saturday.

3 shots against the great Chad Johnson. These bad starts happen way too often. Coaching techniques? The Isles appear miles ahead of us tonight.

The game: The Habs don't look to be into tonight ... Game of Thrones starts at 9 PM ... Bobby Smith: Smith was cut by his high school team before he made the 67's ... I saw him in his rookie year and he was a tall, beanpole who shied away from the rough going (he had no meat on his bones) ... but I saw him play a few years later and he was dominant ... Smith once said of a good friend of mine, Paul Sheard, that he was the best junior player he played with ... Paul just became a Canadian citizen earlier this year ... oh yeah, the game ... the Islanders schooled us in the 1st period ... Cheers.

Andrghetto was very lazy on that play. Emelin might get the blame for a pick , but if Andrighetto actually takes the body and not fish for the puck, that never happens I look at Gonchar -- played that 2 on 1 terribly -- you always take the pass away and trust your goalie -- he moved over and it was an easy pass and tap in.

Islanders showing why they are ahead of the Habs in the standings.
13-3-0 at home.

Markov ties it on only our 6th shot.
Prust with a great screen.

Before that goal, Islanders had two really good chances to make it 2-0.

Gallagher jams in a rebound. 2-1.

Gallagher goes to the net and is rewarded after a really nice zone entry by that line.

Sekac really not having a good game.

What a bogus call on Sekac.
Embellishment big-time....he didn't even touch the Islander's skates....and any semblance of a hook was long gone.
The old Darcy Tucker/Tie Domi play. Go to the net with someone checking you...and fall.

They let the play go up the ice with the Habs net off the moorings?

Is Parenteau ever going to score again?

They let the play go up the ice with the Habs net off the moorings? As long as the Habs had possession, it was okay I presume.....but what if an errant Habs' pass ended up sneaking past Price and into what should've been the net? What happens then?
