Manny not playing tonight. We'll see how improved we are in the circle.
I don't know who is slotting in, though Bournival makes sense.

We need a team effort tonight guys. Not just on the ice but on the board, too. I bet many of us don't have access to the game so your reports will be invaluable. (Unless we get hammered of course) then who cares?!

One minute in and the Score is showing us up 1-0. Yay. Oh wait that was a shot on goal not a goal. (Blush).

I'm watching on RDS (via the Bell French Language Pak).
I'll do my best to report.
(In case I get hammered, too...)

Gallagher, Galchenyuk with hard work on that shift. No scoring chance, but they're working.

Beaulieu with a nice stick lift as a Panther was ready to catch a cross-ice pass right in front of Tokarski.

Subban goes for a nice-looking rush...but can't get a return pass....goes deep....
Eller covers with a fine stick play to deflect the pass on a brief 2-on-1.

Olsen slams DD into the boards from behind....not a major.....but still 2:00 for cross-checking.
Fairly even game so far.

Pleks with a nice chance close-in...shoots right at Luongo. Not much room though.

Meh power play....just the one chance by Pleks.
Beaulieu was set-up nicely at the point....a good, hard shot....but wide.

DD eludes a check along the boards and sets up Pleks...who passes out front to Parenteau....again...right at Luongo.

The PP is back to their old tricks ... Trying to set up Subban on the point or back door, and thereby eliminate all other options. Ugh
This is the kind of game that can get away from them if they insist on being too fancy , cause Florida will grind it out. Maybe Therrien will see just how much a grinding team we are then

I bet if they kept offside stats we'd be miles ahead of the league ..... We are offside close to ten times every game

About 4:00 left....Panthers with some pressure..
Tokarski hasn't been too busy...but another solid save from him.

Subban slides and breaks up a close-in 2-on-1.
That's at least the third 2-on-1 given up....and all of them have been broken up before a shot can be taken.

No flow to the game to this point ... Subban with a nice defensive play to block a 2-on-1 down low ...
Cheers.

Gerard Gallant really endorsing Michel Therrien ... he gives a lot of responsibilities to his assistants and lets them do their jobs ... that's quite positive comment ...
Cheers.

Gallant also has an intimate knowledge of the Habs dressing room ... a little intel on the enemy is always helpful ... Cheers.

How many more times do I have to say that the earlier you pass on a 2 on 1 the better .... Pacioretty waited so long passing never became an option
