Big one tonight ... Pittsburgh coming off a big win against Tampa Bay, 6-3 ... we're coming off a win vs the Devils ... would be really nice beating the Penguins in their own Igloo ...
Cheers.

If any one should come outs Sven he has to earn his stripes Bourny has done that IMO....The madman running our bench still scares me....what he has on his side is hungry youth and a team that plays for each other and a top 3 goalie.... Not sure what the players think but as long as they win it's all good. Would be great if they could win this one for the memory banks down the road but you now wonder if they are due for a clunker. Go Habs

This is the first game I'm watching for what appears ages. If we lose, DO NOT BLAME ME.

Note: Bournival scores two goals for us last night and he's a healthy scratch tonight ... please explain ... edit: also noticed that Malhotra is dressed ... Cheers. Two possibilities a) Bournival is hurt or sick and we don't know about it b) Therrien being Therrien. Terry Ryan described exactly the same treatment when Therrien was his coach in the minors. Ryan was first star in one game and was scratched the next. I tend to think it's (a) rather than (b),

That is some serious effort in the GDT Dis, very nice. Any word on if Price is starting tonight?

Otherwise Therrien looks foolish for scratching a guy that scored 2 goals 24 hours ago. If he's healthy this makes no sense.

I'm trying to find some updates but I can't ... I read elsewhere that Bournival is in and Parenteau is out ... looks like both Price and Fleury have been confirmed as starters ... Cheers.

When is a Habs gam going to be on CBC that isn't versus the Leafs? Talk about monopolizing the National network spewing Leafs propaganda.....as there isn't enough Leaf fans out there for me to hate.

I did an Angus Reid poll on sports networks last month and I mentioned this in the final comments ... national telecasts are still Leaf-centric ... honestly, though, I'm not used to hearing pro-Habs broadcasts ... I'm actually a tad embarrassed at how slanted the commentary is at times ... don't get me wrong, I'll take it ... I'm just not used to it ... gotta beat these guys tonight ... Cheers.

National anthem time (snooze). Yes, I'm patriotic, but why not have them after the game, so I can make my way to the car with no fuss?

After a rough patch in our end (nathan has a turnover), Habs attack with the galchy line and Patches pops in a rebound of a Gilbert point shot.

DD's arms just weren't long enough for that wrap around. Otherwise, it's 2-0. Good work by the boys in the PItt zone.

That really shouldn't have counted. Love Gally, but when they start reviewing those he's going to have to cool it with the goalie bumping.

Ok, was that actually goaltender interference? Gallagher didn't enter the paint but it does appear to make contact with the goalie.

I'd guess that if the goalie is out of the crease area, they probably give the forwards a bit more latitude. Didn't notice it myself.

Eller's a beast. A pen lines him up at the blue line and Eller is leaning forward, off balance,to tip it in, and its the Pen who goes down.
