Was Galchenyuk ever slammed into the boards by Ryan!
Could a case be made for boarding? Distance from boards, vulnerable position?

Another penalty to the Sens.
C'mon guys...make it happen here.

Trying to be too pretty. PP has returned to normal. Seemed like several different lineups.

Something else seems fairly obvious. We don't hit much. We don't really finish checks, which makes it easy for the other team to get into a flow, take return passes, etc. Just finish your checks, boys.

Another Sens' penalty coming up.
Like last night, we've had our chances....

Secret to this game? Kick the crap out of Pageau. Somehow, I think that's important. Worst case scenario, I'll feel better about it. Check the heck out of him, boys.

Sekac has come close at least twice tonight.
Shots and play in our favour that period, helped by 4 PPs (3 full, one partial)....but the Sens connected on their best chance.
Appears to not be our night.
I don't expect another 3 PPs. 0-4 tonight.
Think I'll record the third and do something else.

listened to 690 2nd intermission. wondering why there is no consistency in lines -- why MT doesn't keep a line together tonight. there's your reason for inconsistency.
if it doesn't work for his favourites he keeps 'em together anyway. if you ain't his favourite you bounce from line to line -- even if you do something decent.

Why do we hate him again? Hurt us in the playoffs two years ago, has two points tonight. Some guys are just a nemesis and you have to neutrelize them.

Parenteau is on something like 1 goal in 22 games. Why is he even in the lineup. Watching him play makes me yearn for Briere.

saw the last 5 minutes. black unis. looked like we were playing the Kings the Sends were taking it to us so badly.
no urgency until the last minute.
we're back to what we were.
is it coaching? if so, dump him. if it's the players, then MB has more work to do and he'd better do it soon

good team nut bar of a coach despite the record ....will enjoy the season best I can but without up grades that even the madman cant screw up have no expectations of a good run can see a first round exit quite easily

Tough to take a loss to the lowly Sens. We're really not playing well or with any real consistency. In an interview with the Hamilton Spectator, Berg said he was really satisfied with Hamilton's coaching and that Lefebvre 'was teaching' Therrien's system. A sound bite or speaking the truth? I've always questioned Berg's judgment on coaches and haven't seen anything to change that opinion. Lack of scoring, inconsistency, living off goaltending. All symptoms of weak leadership. I hope Berg faces the truth at some point because we are only as good as Price. Sigh.

-Am starting to lose faith in Eller. Guy seems to have little hockey sense; his needless icing early in the game cost us the first goal -Galchy was horrible tonight, trying to deke guys whenever it suited him rather than when it was truly necessary to try and get a scoring chance; this led to multiple turnovers -Gilbert. Yuck. Multiple turnovers, bad pinches... Emelin was invisible but at least made no massive mistakes. -Markov looked old. And this is the first year of a 3 year deal... -Beaulieu. Probably our best D tonight, bar none. Reminds me of a guy who wore #28 20 years ago. -Strong game by Sekac, but the rest of our forwards had iffy nights. -Despite everyone's predictions, Max wasn't put back on DD's wing when the top line had to be tweaked.

I hope the Habs were sluggish because they had played the night before, If that wasn't the explanation, it's a bad sign that they're counting on Pacioretty to bail them out. He's on pace for 40 goals. Unfortunately, he's not a 5-goal-a night scorer. Some of his team mates appear to have hit a midseason wall.
