First time I watch Sportsbet I think..... Seriously, who is this play by play guy ? They should just let the game go with no comments at all..... It's Paul Romanuk....who is awesome. But it's obvious he has laryngitis or some kind of throat problem. Healy and Johnson are covering everything they can.

Isles with two consecutive chances all alone in front of Toker. Missed both times.....but still....

Sekac with a couple of strong shifts thus far ... our team's speed is creating a lot of chances ... have to turn up the tempo a bit and wear these guys down ... taking penalties won't do that ...
Cheers.

Beaulieu's developing a nasty streak. I'm liking it. Apparently Gonchar has been quite the mentor for him. Looks like Nathan is on the cusp of a breakout.

Beaulieu is having a strong game. Loved how he just skated the puck out when two different foreckeckers played him to pass.
Our breakout is predictable. I counted 3 times when the dman was right up on our winger in our zone. They're playing us tight because it works. No options for the winger or our dman.

Subban has 10 goals--that's more than most of our forwards.

Toker was solid. The boys aren't playing shy.
Polar opposite of the first period in Ottawa. Good thing.

Romanuk should've called in sick....
Maybe he had no choice....but this is a bad broadcasting product.

That was a great shift for the Eller line. No goal but a great chance.

If Markov had been a touch more aggressive he would have been right there for the pass all alone on Halak.

Okposo. 2-1.
Markov over skated, leaving him open.

Miscommunication there between PK and Pleks. Pleks took the pick carrier and PK was in no mans land in the corner leaving NY with extra men in front. Puck to Okposo and its in the net.
