Weise and Pleks with two goals each, Subban with three assists.
3 PPG.
Shots 44-23 for the home team.

Nice to see them blow open a game for a change.

Great game by Subban ... the Devils were on their heels for most of the game ... with the exception of stint in the 3rd the Devils looked gassed ... the Bruins are a different animal ... have to win tomorrow night ... a big one ..
Cheers.

I think the Devs did wear out. While we had a huge advantage in shots in the first, we didn't threaten Kinkaid at all. As the game wore on, we were half a step and then a step ahead of NJ. It looks good on Lou.

Sound all-around game. Until he tripped on himself, I even thought Gilbert had a strong game.
Bournival has to be worried, with Thomas, De La Rose and Dumont getting icetime while he sits in the stands...

Bournival has to be worried, with Thomas, De La Rose and Dumont getting icetime while he sits in the stands... When it was 3-1 i thought Gilbert was single handedly trying to give NJnthe game: first his stumble and then give aways. Fortunately we got that 4th goal and i think gilbert realized he couldn't help the devils from trying. I much prefer Weaver. the speed and hustle of the 3 rookies is impressive - that was Bouni's strength. Thought Eller had a strong game. BGal is so much fun to watch. I love his smile - it is not a smirk but a "I love this game" smile.

It looks good on Lou. I think the Habs' game plan was to wear them down - hence the reason they spent the entire first period hitting anything in a Devils' jersey. It paid off as they wore the Devils down pretty quickly and then turned on the jets. Won't be able to do that against the B's, though. Glad to see the PP come through - we'll need it today.
