I think it's a goal, but considering how many good ones we've had called back this year, I'd like to see one go our way for a change. I'd be arguing it the other way if it was Gallagher obviously but it felt like we had a chance to have that one reversed. I'd hate to play the Sens in the playoffs. We somehow don't play them well.

Looked as if Emelin jammed his shoulder going into the boards awkwardly. Does that, as Sportsnet is saying, get Bergevin looking for another Dman....OR....does Tinordi get called up? Does Pateryn get his chance? We're gonna have to start dressing 8 D. If Toronto would retain some salary, I'd seriously consider Phaneuf. We need grit for the playoffs, right now our Defense is soft as marshmallows. I'd like Tinordi, but we need big d-men willing to pound the opposition

An ugly one.
That's how the wild comeback last year started.

I have to question the decision to start Tokarski. If these are the "easy" points, then you do your best to bank them .... Florida beating us with Tokarski in net really doesn't hurt us if they pass Boston.

They really go after Eller, don't they?
Maybe because he's one of the only guys who will finish a check.

Subban with a bonehead play at the blueline. Empty net.

Hard night. Injuries and Ottawa make trouble. Habs with plenty of shots but I guess congratulations to that career AHLer in net.

The Sens don't just beat us….they beat us UP…..we're still intimidated by them.
And talk about a CLEAR BLUEPRINT for our opposition going forward.

In the last couple of weeks they have played Buffalo, Arizona, Edmonton, Toronto & Ottawa. They have managed a grand total of 3 points against some of the worst teams in the league. How the hell are they in 1st place?

Intimidate them with price's presence.

STone had 3 points against us tonight. Good player. He never seems to lose a puck battle if it's stick on stick. He must have biceps on his biceps. I don't know if he's a below average skater or just looks like a below average skater because his feet don't move quickly, but that may be his only vice. He's big, he can score, he has patience and I wish we had him.
I still hate Ottawa, though, and seriously, I'd give away two points one game and dress my tough guys and hammer them. CAuse right now, they own us.

Unfortunately, Bergevin doesn't have an infinite number of trading chips.
