Bob Rouse? Bob Rouse?! Seriously, the Defender? Shades of E.G.Marshall. (oops, there I go again, letting my age slip), Love some of these pics, Dis. Names I haven't heard in decades (literally).
And Arturs Irbe, The Latvian Leviathan.

Thanks 17 ... there's plenty of material online for the Original Six and original expansion teams, but finding stuff for the newer teams is a tad more difficult ... have a good one ...
Cheers.

Yup, great pics. And it would seem #19 will be known as "An Average Joe" whose name never got on the Cup.

Parenteau in the lineup tonight.
They're saying on TSN690 that PAP basically has 20 games to prove he belongs and can contribute. Otherwise, he just won't play in the playoffs.

It's definitely an audition. He's not capable of being a bottom 6 player. If he can't gel with the rest of the top 6 ... It would be great if he could. He's scored goals previously. Of note, Petry is a game time decision. He arrives at 3:30 local time. He'll meet with the coaching staff and they'll decide if he goes tonight.

@johnlutsnmtl: #Habs Therrien says he hasn't had a chance to talk to Petry yet but he will play tonight.

Other than some nice shootout GWGs, he hasn't done much in a while. This would be a good time to wake up. We could use his extra offense, if he can find it again quickly.

You gotta feel for Lars Eller .... Does everything asked of him. Last game finally gets put into an offensive role, gets an assist, +2, and still the are going to give PAP a chance. It's looking more and more like Eller or DLR are going to be the odd man out eventually

Yeah, I'd be inclined to leave a good thing alone, at least until it proves to not be a good thing.

Not a great start. Hemmed in our end for long stretches. Price finally gives one up.

Not a good start.
Pleks can't clear, bad play.
Petry looked like he needs to get the oiler out on that last shift.

We're getting manhandled. Very little offense going back the other way with the exception of a couple of chances.

We're facing the formidable Alex Stalock, who's all of 5-7-1.
Our top 6 taking the period off, it seems.
I know San Jose is desperate....and lost every home game in February (i.e. they're due)....but we have to be better than this.

It didn't take long to replace Eller with Weise on the second line ... One shift.
DSP has zero offensive sense. So far, he hasnt shown any. Can't even receive a pass

Funny to watch the Sharks throw their weight around but go down diving twice to draw these calls.
