The GDT is pleasant to look at. However, I'm concerned that the game itself won't bring as much pleasure. Which team really is better, the Habs or he Bolts? Even the Bruins (a possible first round opponent) are hotter. An output of 3 or more goals against the Bolts would help reassure me.

Good start.
The video is choppy on Bell.

Speed wise Bolts are just as good scoring is no contest in their favour and we struggle with big D and big goalies... Bishop despite his okay season has dominated the Habs back to his Ottawa days...boys will need to bring their level and compete up a notch or two....if they meet this year it won't be a sweep.

PLeks' first touch was too hard on that breakaway pass from Gally. HE never really gota good chance. Nice to see the LIghtning leaving open space.

Habs holding off Bolts pretty well but at the same time not getting many good looks either

That was an "oh look, I'm hooked" without the hook. More of a hook on Pleks just now.

LIghtning are really good at transition hockey. They pressure a lot, so you really have to move the puck quickly and if you do, they give up a lot of chances. It was going ok until Gilberts pass was in Petry's skates and then it all went to hell.

Boys are stepping up so far but need some O .... Special teams are massive against teams like Tampa ....PK has done the job so far.....that's why PP has to be in gear to be in gear when given the chances

I liked the look on Namestnikov's face when he was jawing with Gally. First he was breathing really hard and he looked hyper. I want that on the opposition. Anything but relaxed. That was a nice stretch of finishing our checks. Markov really decked Morrow nd DSP knocked down Boyle

Where did that call come from? Just out of the blue.

DSP throwing the weight around. On Boyle no less. With a nice bit of trash talking afterwards. We've missed this kind of mojo.

Thats either a hold or hook against Weise. Not called. Hoep they're as lax against us.

Another dud ......they have to find a solution to PP unless it elevates from pathetic to decent it 's going to be tough to advance very far

Apparently you can hook the legs....that wasn't just a stick tie-up on Weise.
Oh well....
The PP is going to be our downfall....because we have nothing going on at even-strength at all.

Pitchfork hook on Weise and nothing. Nobody knows what the standard is anymore. It's like they wake up once and awhile and make a call.

Biggest difference between our PP and theirs. They move the puck quickly. No one guy holds onto it long. The puck moves (because the players are moving) and that forces the defense to move around a lot and creates openings.

Not even a shot on that PP. there is no power play in Montreal -- just an opportunity to play with an extra skater on the ice to chase the puck back to our own zone.
