For the umpteenth time ....pass early on the two on ones , the deeper you go, the easier it is to defend.
The earlier you pass, the defense has to react and it leave the give and go open

The difference between the Lightning PP and Habs PP is like night and day ....
They gain the zone, pass quickly, pass short, get the puck yo the net
We struggle getting in, dump and chase, and then try long pass and dipsy doodle at the point and wind up for blasts ....
What team has 222 goals again? Perhaps we should copy their PP

Not even a shot on that PP. there is no power play in Montreal -- just an opportunity to play with an extra skater on the ice to chase the puck back to our own zone. It's beyond ridiculous to be sitting 24th with our talent. I don't care if Anaheim and Chicago aren't much better. We should be able to get something going. That's why I don't want to play Detroit. Their PP is #1....and the way they hustle, they'll draw penalties. Tampa and Detroit are 1-2 in PPOs.

MT continues to keep DD with Max on the PP.
On the first wave, DD was screening Bishop. That works if Bishop's eyes are in his knees.

Thank god MItchell's stick didn't break and he didn't break Killorn's stick too. That all started because Patches couldn't take a soft pass from DD coming out of our zone. We're not executing on some really basic stuff on occasion and its getting us into trouble.
On the bright side, Eller's have a good game.

We have to start falling when we feel the stick.

That's a little better from Pleks and AGal.
When Gallagher gets in front of Bishop, at least he mucks it up.

Bishop has sucked against some other teams lately. Waiting for him to err against us.

We're playing a road game at home.
Other than that good try by Pleks and Galchy, our best offensive player has been Jack Squat.

Now the team that's playing totally tight is us. Galchy has an easy pass and gives it away. LIghtning are playing very comfortably. I'd start finishing a lot of checks to lose that tenseness.
A lot of our guys aren't playing well. WAy too tight.

They enter our zone so easily. They meet us in the neutral zone and shut us down.
MT can't/won't adjust.

It's like a Tampa practice. If not for Carey. And a few good defensive plays by guys like Petry, Patches, and DD at various times.

Habs need net prescience Bolts have the scoring but they know to beat Price they need to crash the net...Habs barely come to close to Bishop.......hope we find a way to get one past Bishop but based on the play it's. T bay that will manufacture a blue collar goal or goals and get the W based on the game so far

We're playing not to lose...and that's usually death....especially at home when you have last change.
De La Rose robbed by Bishop.
Now let's keep it going.

Well...it's been Price once again.
I rewound the PVR and it was a correct non-call on the DD fall in front of Bishop. He just fell with the pressure.

Boston up 3-0 after 2 in Ottawa.
Amazing how a bogus late call last Saturday has turned the Bruins' fortunes around. Philly had them beat.
