Great board work by PAP to set up DD ...and Max might have gotten away with a hook

Nice recognition of poor coverage by PAP, Max. and DD.
DD with a nice finish!
2-1.

Flukey bounce off Petry's skate goes up and over Price's shoulder.
2-2.
I hate unearned GA like that one.

Another category Price leads in ... He is the victim of more bad bounces..... Rarely if ever gets beat clean .... Unbelievable the boys were playing a great game..... Need to dig deep now.

Subban went for his classic skate ... Gave up two shot chances to make flashy turns .... Then gets caught and takes a penalty

Subban's showboating will likely cost us the extra point.
I don't know why he didn't keep heading to the net just before that.....he seemed to have a clear lane on the left side.
Oh well....

Puck bounced on PK at the blueline, took a trip.

And that's how you run a powerplay .... Not blasting from the point ad nauseum

Thinking back to Galchenyuk's two chances to put the game away in the 3rd.

He had a clear lane on the left side and he had a shot from the slot he didn't take, instead he turned back to go to the point and try a no look behind the back pass to Pacioretty, that he connected with, but was that really the higher percentage play while 4 on 4?

And that's how you run a powerplay .... Not blasting from the point ad nauseum Yes...but easier to make that play when it's a 4-on-3.

Smith Pelly all alone ...falls down ... ZERO offensive IQ Looks like he felll trying to go to his forehand. Apparently no shot is better then a good backhand try. I know this guy wasn't brought here for offense but one assist since the trade - c'mon man.

Yep, but did you notice on the replays of our last game against them how we ran our OT powerplay? .... From the point, so it's not so easy for us regardless how many are on the ice

Puck bounced on PK at the blueline, took a trip. instead of chasing Forsberg he takes the lazy way out & trips him right away. Jeez he's been lousy tonight.

Overplayed the d. Ribs is nifty, pretty good chance he gets that pass across. Then again, it's not like we need points, no use anyone getting hurt from a Weber blast.

Too often this team passes up opportunities to get pucks to the net .....look what happened on Preds second goal....rarely try and get pucks on net and force rebound always looking for the perfect set up

By my count, that's the 38th time we've been able to score only 2 or fewer goals. Over half our games....that's a bit high, no?
Record: 14-19-5. 19 of our 20 regulation losses. Only 5 games won in regulation and all of them were shutouts. 9 won in OT or SO. Really says a lot about Price.

Last night they showed a graphic ... 42 times this year Price has held the opposition to 2 or fewer goals.
