The skating legs aren't there. Tampa not really working for much of anything.

It really feels like the Lightning would be an impossible playoff matchup.

Once again, a dman joins the play without our backchecking forward keeping up with him. There are so many 'awereness' situations in which we're failing. When our attack failed I looked and both Gallagher and Galchenyuk were at least even with the Tampa D coming back. Both gave up.
Galchy made a good defensive play, earlier, right after Pleks got sucked toward the puck allowing Stamkos an open guy to pass the puck to and Carey had to make a good save. The defensive discipline is just not there.

Drouin scored the same way as the first goal ... Have they found a weakness in Carey? Blocker side high on a deke? First goal was just squeezed in between Careys leg and the goal post.

They sure seem to have our number.

We must be the team that ices the puck more than any other in the NHL.

Shots are 24-9. Guess for who.

They sure seem to have our number. They play us perfectly. At times overpowering, other times opportunistic. Usually better.

You can just feel another long stretch with no pressure on Bishop.

Tampa owns the puck this period. Can't do anything.

Maybe Prust needs to hit Bishop again.

It really feels like the Lightning would be an impossible playoff matchup. It's not like we're up against Tampa's best line-up. They're missing Coburn, Johnson and a couple of others. We're missing no one. But it's like a practice for them. They're outworking us because they're always in better position than we are, or we're asking guys to go to the wrong places. This game is an example of the risks when you depend on your goalie to be superior all the time. Lesson being applied. Can we come bnack? PS. Noticd that a lot of success is happening with PK and Markov on the ice?

5 times on the PK.
Outshot 25-9 so far.
Tampa's looking good. I find it difficult to hate them. I used to, when St. Louis and Vinnie were there. But they play an honest game. They're just bigger and better overall. And likely, better coached as seventeen has pointed out with a few set plays. While we apparently either have none.....or we can't execute.

Well, despite it all, we're only down 1. Amazing. But it sure would be nice to put some pressure on. How about starting by finishing checks? Just that.

I wonder how MT will spin this afterwards. Cause it's a disaster. Even if we could pull of a win (unlikely), it would be after being dominated all game.

PK's new nickname "One and out" .... Have you ever seen one of his slapshots cause havoc after he missed or on a rebound? I know I havent

Our first PP wave was absolutely terrible. PAP and DD ineffective...Max whiffed on a pass to the point and gave it away.
