Flynn and Mitchell with a great match. Mark Stone with a spectacular Mike Ribeiro impersonation. Subban may get a suspension. Defense was in full shutdown mode in the past few minutes.
Smith-Pelly threw his weight around and nearly put the game away. Petry was good. Markov, not so much.
Don't forget to tweet with the hashtag #PissySens since they certainly didn't lose graciously. My fear was that we would be bullied as we were in 2013, but this doesn't appear to be the case.

whether they should or not the league takes any injury into account. Since Stone came back & played & was throwing punches at the end I can't see how they suspend Subban. If anything Stone should be reprimanded for diving.

Well deserved win. Beat the sens and the refs.
Ottawa will try and fudge the medical report to get PK suspended.
If that slash is the standard, Pronger would have never finished a game.
The pickups were huge. Mitchell, Flynn and Petry were probably our best players. DSP played a heavy game too.
3 to go. Keep hitting and hurting them.

Subban deserved 2 for that. Stone was in and out the rest of the game, but he went down like it was broken. You don't come back before the power play is over if it's broken. When was the last 5 minute major for slashing? It's been a log friggin' time.
DSP was strong. Bottom six was very good. Mitchell has plenty of post season games under his belt. He was good in the faceoff circle.
First PP with 54 minutes played was a crock.
Petry was fantastic.
Markov with some tough moments.
Refreshing not to have to listen to Hughson and Simpson. Romaniuk and Johnson were unbiased, and objective. Healey only moderately offset that.
The war is on.

Four goals without Pacioretty is impressive for this lot ... we didn't score but I liked the PP we had ... les boys just givin' 'er tonight ... going to need that again on Friday ... Sens played a good game ... nice to beat them for a change ...
Cheers.

Dave Cameron : "PK should be suspended, if not when we slash and take out one of their best players, only give us 5, pretty simple, no?"

Good job, Cameron!
What a moronic thing to say to the media.
Should work in our favour.

Good, now it's premeditated. Keep talking Dave.
I should mention that I really liked Mitchell's slash on EK with time running out.

He mentioned he also hacked him on a face off in the first period

If the Sens wanted Subban suspended, they shouldn't have allowed Stone to come back.
There's now no way to exclude the possibility/probability that Stone further aggravated the injury by returning...AND throwing punches.
Can't have it both ways, Cameron....
Let's hope New York plays it correctly.
Oh well....at least we've got some talking points!!!

Accidently I hit my thumb with a hammer a few summers ago, I yelled and held the injured hand awkwardly. I forgot to fall leap in the air and fall down on the garage floor.

Cameras caught PK's reaction in the tunnel when he found out Stone returned. He was pissed. Apoplectic.
It's clear we're not going to get calls.
I liked our overall 'presence'. Guys were hitting, active in scrums, showing some gamesmanship. Karlsson is hard to catch, but they got bodies on him. He was only a factor periodically.

Mark Stone : "There was intent there, I think he was trying to injury me" He mentioned he also hacked him on a face off in the first period anybody ask him about the dive. That's clearly embellishmnet & with Pronger on the NHL "diving" panel he would probably see it that way. Stone's making it sound like he played the entire season without incident.

Dave Cameron : "PK should be suspended, if not when we slash and take out one of their best players, only give us 5, pretty simple, no?" 1. it was a hockey play gone bad. 2. no bug eyed walrus around this year 3. was that #61?

Only a hardcore fan or talking bobble head of the Senators would not see that as what it was, a TREMENDOUS job of flopping around like a dead fish.
Zero suspension coming, in fact a fan should throw Stone a Razzy trophy for poor acting and thick glasses for the blind ref who made that assinine call.
Great, great, great character win by Skrudland, Nilan and Walter. I meant Flynn, Prust and Mitchell.

Stone is a baby, sad for a rookie to make baby like comments in the media instead of keeping his head down and just playing hockey.
I mean Jackson gave Stone and the Sens an absolute gift for what is a 2 minute slash. And he keeps crying.

Interesting i said the same thing whenever that happens, since when is the wrist bone connected to the leg bones? Only in soccer, and apparently mr Stone.

Well, if they can influence the officiating then more power to them ... they're using everything they can to win the series ... is Mark Stone ... or Stoned, both a flake and a liar ... going to be a long series me thinks ...
Cheers.

On tsn1200 the on air guys are crying about Stone. A hab fan tweeted them #dive and they threatened to block him for 2 weeks. They should block everyone outside the national capital region too just like the Hens did with the tickets... Matt Bradley complaining about PK embellishing... i played against him and he's annoying and an embellisher.
They interviewed Karlsson and he did not complain at all... very classy talked about how they have to play better.
