It will be the Habs job to inspect that wrist at every opportunity.

On tsn1200 the on air guys are crying about Stone. A hab fan tweeted them #dive and they threatened to block him for 2 weeks. They should block everyone outside the national capital region too just like the Hens did with the tickets... Matt Bradley complaining about PK embellishing... i played against him and he's annoying and an embellisher. They interviewed Karlsson and he did not complain at all... very classy talked about how they have to play better. Only in Canada can a guy as marginal as Matt Bradley get a job in sports.

I'd love to find the author of the article someone posted who essentially said "Brian Flynn? Who's that ?" and shove this game right up his read :-)
I was surprised at the intensity, but also surprised at how much the refs let go. Until the Sens penalty with 6 minutes to go, they'd only called stick infractions, no obstruction, holding or anything like that, even though there was a lot of that going on.
In the end of game scrum, I think Eller was teasing Zibanehad about his falling like he'd been shot, after getting a glove in the face. I'd like to say the same about Stone and Subban, but Stone may have been legitimately hurt. I still think it should have been a 2-minute slashing call though.
I'm concerned about Desharnais and Parenteau, they got very, very little done and can't survive in this environment.
I hate Gilbert, but other than running into Price, I thought he had a strong game. With Subban out, it was to our advantage that our 6th D was a veteran who could play in all situations. The coaches would've had far fewer options with Pateryn.
I can't believe the abuse Gallagher had to take.
Overall, I'm not as concerned for the rest of the series though. With Subban and eventually Pacioretty back, we'll be a better team, and we won't be giving up as many PPs in future games; and Hammond is very much solved. I wonder if the charges from behind the net are something that Waite found, because we saw a lot of that.

Accidently I hit my thumb with a hammer a few summers ago, I yelled and held the injured hand awkwardly. I forgot to fall leap in the air and fall down on the garage floor. Did you apply for a pension ... should have ... at the very least you should have a chit for medicinal marijuana ... but if it was deliberate, well then ... entirely different scenario ... you'll have to see Dr Recchi ... Stone will more than likely play ... Cheers.

After I heard the explanation I was okay with the call ... however, the Stone issue is becoming a sideshow to the series ... if he's good to go on Friday (I suspect he will), then it will be interesting to see how the officials react, if they do at all ... Four goals on him and they came close a few more times ... three goals on Price doesn't happen all the time either ... Cheers.

Accidently I hit my thumb with a hammer a few summers ago, I yelled and held the injured hand awkwardly. I forgot to fall leap in the air and fall down on the garage floor. I don't get it either. I broke my arm after flying over the handlebars of an atv. I was halfway back to it, wondering how bad the damage to the quad was, before I noticed my arm arm felt funny. Roll up sleeve, turn white. I certainly didn't go quadding again right away. Broke some bones in my hand playing ball, didn't think it was that bad, till I tried to throw a ball. That was that. Took a puck off the noggin, kept playing til the blood started going in my eyes. Band aid, played more, showered up, took a good look at it, could see skull, off to the doc. I don't consider myself tough either, it's normal I think. The adrenaline is going, you don't really notice. Never once rolled around like Stone did. Maybe I did when I was 5.

Player 61 complaining about intent to injure is at risk of ruining Ottawa's glass house by throwing rocks.

Dave Cameron : "PK should be suspended, if not when we slash and take out one of their best players, only give us 5, pretty simple, no?" Dear Dave Cameron. Im sorry that you were born with a small, barely functioning brain. Maybe it's best if you write things out, pass it around to people who you know to be intelligent, and if four of them approve what you wrote down then you can read it word for word to a wider audience. Until then, know that you're just not very smart, and shut your trap. Dear Mr Cameron, you are stupid, it must be difficult day to day dealing with that.

Are you referring to the throat-cut gesture when McLaren elbowed Zednik? Bring on the hate. Sens want to try and bully, our guys seem willing to stand up and even fight back.

Maybe the theatrical and talkative rookie calls outside legal advocate if the league fails to do what he recommends.

Proud of tonight's win. Character win. Doesn't matter to me that Cherry and the HNIC crew won't acknowledge it.

Flynn and Mitchell with a great match. Mark Stone with a spectacular Mike Ribeiro impersonation. Subban may get a suspension. Defense was in full shutdown mode in the past few minutes. I missed the heinous act by PK.... did Stone get 9.8 from the judges on his two and a half gainer with a twist. I think the most embarrassing and humiliating aspect of that situation is that Kessel...Kessel of all people, handled the same thing with much more aplomb than Stone. Kessel just shook his hand and tried restoring circulation to it. Gritted his teeth and grimaced a bit. Did not do a 3.2 degree of difficulty dive, did not go and chug-a-lug a litre of Red Bull, did not aim for a Golden Globe award. Phil Kessel, folks. That Phil Kessel. Stone should be ashamed of himself. And to think I actually liked him once.

Who's that ?" and shove this game right up his read :-) It was an Ottawa blogger contributing to Habs Eye on the Prize. He only used an initial for his last name. That's exactly what I was thinking as Flynn was wreaking havoc on the Sens. Mr. Blogger...meet Mr. Flynn and his friends on the third and fourth lines that you thought were easily in Ottawa's favour. How are those Sens bottom 6 feeling today? A little minus?

I guess MB may have found 3 players to "get us through the playoffs" in Flynn, DSP and Mitchell.

Glad we got the win. We are by far the better team. Hammy had horseshoes tonight (Petry, DSP) and still gave up 4 goals. He often was flopping about with no idea of where the puck was. When Max gets back he is going to have a field day with this AHLer.
Only Sens player that concerns me is Karlsen but that is only when he has the puck. When we have the puck and he's on the ice I'm good because he is awful defensively and gave us a number of 2 on 1. They basically are going with 4 forwards and one D when Karlsen is out there. The rest of the Sens D are very slow. We should be all over them.
When did Turris become such a dick? From the opening face-off he set the cheap shot tone. Fortunately we responded, including Pleks.
Never thought PAP would be a good playoff player and he's proving me right. DD was invisible as well but I think he can turn it around. Would be nice to get a PP. Hard to believe we only had one given the chippy game this was.
Markov looked tired which is why I was pushing for the last month that he should be rested for a game or two. Perhaos we should rest him for Gonchar - a former Sen.

I was quite pleased with Eller's response to Zibanejad, who can be a sneaky roach at times too. Eat this, Mika and stick it. In fact, I thought that was some embellishment too. Eller got him mostly on the shoulder and may have nicked his chin along the way. If he'd really connected with the chin, his head would have snapped back much harder. I still can't forgive him after kicking in that goal 2 years ago.

Pierre LeBrun and François Gagnon both have talked to the league and there will be no suspension, that the 5 and a game was punishment enough. Eller might be in review.
Subban will not be our captain because of stuff like this. Also Ellers but end to the face can't happen again. We can't win being so undisciplined. These guys Ave got to learn.
At least we proved we can score without Max, 4gpg since his injury?

I'm not sure he'll manage to contribute offensively, but he's a bull in a china shop. He was leaning on their D all night too, making life difficult for Gryba and Methot.

It will be the Habs job to inspect that wrist at every opportunity. Prod it occasionally? Prod, whack it with your own hand in scrums, egg him to punch you with it, get in a fight, whatever. I've read this morning that while Shanahan was head of player safety he instituted a rule that called for a fine to teams grandstanding for supplementary discipline within 48 hours of an incident. No word yet whether the league will fine Cameron, but should they decide to, it's $25k.
