The Senators are milking this huge right now ... anything to get an advantage ... would like to see PK win Game 2 by himself ... 2 goals, 2 assists, a few jarring checks, that kind of thing ...
Cheers.

Agree Dis. Calling it a "microfacture" just to make it sound worse is lame. It's a bone bruise, a term most teams would use.
Sounds like the kind of stuff Bruins fans would say about the Habs.

I can think of something else the Senators can fill their cup with.

I guess MB may have found 3 players to "get us through the playoffs" in Flynn, DSP and Mitchell. I thought Mitchell and Flynn had excellent games. DSP not so much. Not noticeable at all. Parenteau was ok, but the rest of that line didn't accomplish much. I thought Mr DSP was a force early in the game on the forecheck and came a millimetre away from scoring a huge insurance goal in 3rd. I'm guessing a millimetre less of Hammonds glove and you would have been pleased with the result of his game 1 performance.

Tonight Perron hacks Hagelin almost exactly the same as Subban hacked Stone. Hagelin didn't fall down , and it was only 2 mins.
The crew tonight is singing different tunes tonight, they seem to be making fun of the rhetoric coming out of Ottawa , specifically Bryan Murray expressing his dismay over "threats" on the ice .... Strange how they are do anti Montreal during the Habs actual telecast, and then 180 when not

Strange how they are do anti Montreal during the Habs actual telecast, and then 180 when not I thought Romaniuk and Johnson were solid last night. Johnson was openly skeptical at various points. TSN panel thought it was a 2 minute penalty last night. I didn't see much of the CBC intermission content, on purpose, so I can't comment on that.

Saw that Perron play. Same thing as PK. Didn't pull a "rolling stone".
Just watched Murray's interview. Pathetic. A bruise is going to be internal bleeding.

Am still catching up to the Rangers-Pens game on my DVR, but Pens got called for obstruction... the kind of thing that happened to Gallagher on each and every shift....

I love that the Hens are unravelled over this. All this squawking is just distracting from how poorly they played and how the 'Hamburglar' was exposed as an AHL hack. It'll be all downhill from here for them. They won't enjoy the ride.

Yep….and the Sens haven't lost an important game in a long time…..with a lot of luck and favourable officiating going their way, no doubt.
They're feeling a bit entitled….

Most players in PK's situation would be off their game and shy away. But one thing PK has showed over and over again (perhaps he's had to fight it his whole life) when he's challenged he responds. I pity the Sens if they think they're going to get PK off his game. He's got them right where he wants them. This is going to be fun. I too wouldn't mind seeing washed up Neil. But I'm guessing he can slash and cheap shot as good as ever. Don't mind him getting penalties but do mind him injuring a Hab. You'd think the coach might have encouraged such behaviour. Fortunately this is the NHL and that doesn't happen

PK was telling Stone the Cup was ours, not theirs. Unfortunately, he said it in Italian and used the phrase "Cosa Nostra" which literally translates to "our thing". Stone, not being the sharpest crayon in the box, misunderstood and felt he was threatened. Not a big deal.
I think I feel a micro migraine coming on.

Chris Neil told reporters that pk needs to keep his head up tonight.
Also, Ray ferraro was making fun of the sens complaints about pk threatening stone. He said Dale hunter used to tell me he was going to shove his stick down my throat lol

"they're disrespecting us ... yadda, yadda, yadda ..." Cheers.

Agree Dis. Calling it a "microfacture" just to make it sound worse is lame. It's a bone bruise, a term most teams would use. Sounds like the kind of stuff Bruins fans would say about the Habs. Brett Gardner, New York Yankees outfielder, recently had an MRI on his "ailing right wrist (confirming) a micro-fracture bone bruise after X-rays returned negative". "Gardner missed the team's last two contests after getting hit by a pitch...." He's "considered day-to-day". (per The Score) The Yankees reportedly did not call for Major League baseball to suspend the offending Baltimore Orioles' pitcher indefinitely nor did they threaten or in fact seek frontier justice. (This last part is NOT from the Score).
