Proper thing.
As PK said today, "It's great to be nominated, but I want to win the cup." Referring to a conversation with Price, he remarked, "we'll be in Vegas, let's win the cup so we can take the whole team."

Very happy for carey. He's a good decent person from what i have seen and read. I love that he's a Hab and that the media have to show a hab love because he's the best at what he does.

Carey really came a long way as a player, leader and person under Bergevin/Therrien.... He always had the talent mind you. very happy he should win this hands down. Hart/Vezina... ...here's hoping for Smythe and Stanley as well

Would that be a quad-fecta? Quadrophenia?

Hart/Vezina... ...here's hoping for Smythe and Stanley as well Bergevin made a great move in luring Stephane Waite away from Chicago. And yeah, IF there's a Cup….Price will definitely have won the Smythe.

It's a wonder they had votes for two other players.

He will get all first place votes.
Especially when the Capitals Coach called Carey Price the Best player in Hockey while his own player is a Hart nominee too.

Wouldn't it be something if Price ended the year with the Jennings, Vezina, Hart, Conn Symthe and Stanley Cup? Now that would be impressive!

This is a slam dunk for Carey. Not only is he head and shoulders above the competition, there is little to choose from the competition. Their numbers are all similar and no one stands out. You could argue all day whether Ov is more valuable that Tavares, or either if them is more valuable than many other skaters who were considered. No debate when it to comes to what Carey did for the Habs and his outstanding numbers when compared to all other goalies. My only reservation in him winning is that Theo also won it and look what happened to him. Fortunately Carey doesn't take meds for his hair, as far as I know.
