who is going to tell him it's time to ride off into the sunset? He's scary every time he's on now. We're stuck with him for another year. Never thought I'd say that. He's been terrible. it's worse than that. www.nhlnumbers.com has his contract ending in 2017. I really think he needs to think about retiring.

Markov has been a step behind for awhile now. Yep. But I haven't noticed how bad it was until this playoffs.

After watching the Flames play last night, I wish our boys played with the same heart.

After watching the Flames play last night, I wish our boys played with the same heart. Was thinking the same thing. They play like there's always a chance. MTL is playing like there's no hope. I keep hoping for that big breakout but it just never comes.

A goal-scorer puts that Weise chance in the top half of the net.
How many true finishers do we have up front?

That's 2 posts and a debatable offside.

The number of shots we get that are blocked is probably more than it is for most teams. Are we waiting too long? Do we not aim to miss the guy right in front? Or is it just normal in the NHL not that so many shots get blocked.
I think pads below the ankles should be outlawed. That'll clear the shooting zones and increase scoring in the league.

I like how there are guys in front of the net, but why is it Petry?

Quick whistle with Bishop down and out. Sure we deserved it.
Kind of kicking them this period. Nothing to show for it yet.

Water torture offense ....no luck what so ever ...sooner or later T Bay will score another before they have 10 shots and good night...so frustrating when they are the better team

If Tampa gets the next goal, I smell another blowout.

They're skating. I like their breakouts. But when it comes to offense...

CBC just put up a graphic - Habs shooting % is 5.1 that's one goal every 20 shots. EDIT: now 17 scoreless periods.

Taht chance by Weise is a good example. He could have tried lifting it, but choose to go around Bishop's leg which would have worked if Bishop hadn't lost his stick and it was lying right where Weise tried to slide it in. If Bishop doesn't lose his stick, that's probably a goal. Luck? I think so. While we can certainly use a sniper, we've been very unlucky as well. No bounces off butts and into the net. Just bounces that hit the post. Keep it up fellas. At some point, it all turns around and everything starts going in.

Reminds me of the year they played the Sabres and Hasak swept them ...played hard but had no chance because they were not going to score... Sadly they need to score 2 how depressing us that

Can't watch the 3rd. I'll check in later.
It's like a bad soccer team. They are close but you know they will lose 1-0.
