Will Duchene stay in MTL after the game and Tinordi travel with the Avs? It would take more than just Tinordi....but its a start.

Reto Berra playing his butt off in Colorado ... he's been gradually taking over from Semyon Varlamov, who is injured now ... I've got Berra in both of my pools, but I wouldn't mind seeing the guys getting to him early ...
Cheers.

I agree but it is a good starting point... not sure what Duchene's cap hit is. IMO, Tinordi could end up being like Petry... Petry was much maligned by the media in Edmonton but with a fresh start has turned out to be a really good defenseman. Unfortunately the Habs have painted themselves in this corner... they can only send him down on a conditioning stint, they do not want to play him... no matter how many mistakes Gilbert makes. I am sure Petry could make Tinordi look good... he's doing that with Emelin right now, but there is no way either Emelin or Gilbert sits. They could even rotate Beau and Tinordi just to see what Tinordi can do. EDIT:According to Cap Friendly we have a little over 3 Mill in cap space and Duchene's cap hit is 6 mill.... that ain't happening

TSN690 saying that, if today's practice means anything, Semin might very well be in the lineup for this one.

Doubtful Willie D would be nice but if I'm the Av's my starting point is Galchenyuk and Beaulieu why would they take anything less for a proven 70pt guy who isn't a headache just a good player.
Anyways don't think the Habs go this route ...just hope nobody else in the East can make a deal.....anyways as for tonight Hope Habs aren't too dopey with the light schedule.

Pateryn's ahead of Tinordi on the depth chart so this makes sense, but it also reinforces that unless we suffer more injuries, Tinner is a press box inductee.

No Landeskog as he has been suspended 2 games for an elbow to the head of Brad Marchand. ( does anybody in the league deserve an elbow to the head more than Marchand?

Best thing to happen starting tonight is for Pateryn to make a solid impression. Emelin has been really good in comparison to his last few years and he seems to have increased his value based on his play so with Beaulieu ready to assume top 4 mins Emelin would be be logical guy to move if thing progress.

Very good shift by top line. Even better goaltending.

Brutal defensive giveaways and pretty lightweight goaltending. 3 zip Avs

Talk about finish. Colorado has not looked good at all and yet they're up 3-0.

Well, that was interesting til the end of the period...
I really didn't see any sustained pressure from any Habs' lines.
Pacioretty is really off his game.
I'll be checking in for score only.....good luck, boys.

82 game season. But well this is a strange period of hockey. Some defensive end blunders, but Condon looks off tonight.
