Did that look like a contending team missing only its #1 goaltender against a 30th place team?
2 lucky bounces (the first on a 5-on-3) and we still couldn't beat the Jackets....
I'm so glad everybody's safe....

Well, they certainly built off that win against Toronto.
Sorry guys. I think our season is done.

Haven't put two Ws together since November.....

That was not a good effort in any shape or form.
These guys again tomorrow. I expect to see the Jackets grind us down all night. They seem good at it.
Flash's two plays after he came on as the extra attacker were darn stinky.

Their play perfectly matched my enthusiasm. Enjoyed women's tennis more...
Whats more? I officially stopped Careying.

That brilliant tactician behind the bench had an offensive zone face off with 2 minutes to go and his #1 line out. Does he pull the goalie for the extra skater? Nope. He waits til their shift is over. Who does he send out? Flash and Weise, and then waves the goalie over. Flash blows two simple plays, hangs Markov out to dry, in the net. If that was Galchenyuk, he'd be scratched for the next game. Then what does he do? Keeps the goalie out because the chances of scoring 2 friggin' goals in the last 1:20 are real likely at this point in time.
If I was event remotely invested in the last 2 months I'd likely have an ulcer.

Bergevin's PC last week has resulted in nothing but ennui.
The players got a vote of confidence and so did the coaching staff til the end of the season.
There can now be no consequences without Bergevin going back on his word....

He backed all of his guys & they are just as bad.

MT HEAD has been empowered to play his 4th liners right to the bitter end playoffs be damned ... This is a cruel joke

If you're going to trust someone, they better be excellent, not like our current batch of coaches. Berg's made his bed. BTW, I found a photo of Cranky and me from Therrien's first go around. I'm the good looking one.

Therrien: "I'm disappointed in how the players executed and turned the puck over, You're not going to win many games like that..." Remember John McKay of the early TB Buccaneers? When asked what he thought of his team's execution his reply was - I'm in favor of it.

MT is not lying but it is now the beginning of the end. .. throwing the players under the bus. ... and you thought they were playing bad. .. we'll see what happens tomorrow

5 points out of 3rd, and the Bruins have a game in hand (plus they won tonight). Gonna be a long week for them if they don't win tomorrow (next game is Feb. 2nd).

To blunder the way to another loss this month this time against the worst team in league reinforces many things about this group's identity and none of them are flattering. Guys are commonly freelance and confuse their own mates in the defensive zone. The lack of focus is alarming.
But I guess if Pacioretty and Bergevin say organisation is lucky to have Therrien (and implicitly Daigneault, Lacroix, and Lefebvre) then the sensation of losing three out of every four games for two months is not meant to be interpreted literally. It is an illusion.

Ah yes! life in the foxhole with MB and MT. Expecting DD with Max and Weise next game. Clearly, it's all #27's fault that DD is not scoring and can't cover his man.

Max and Pleks, not Galch).

Might I suggest some Ketel One, or some Glenmorangie, or Crown Royal Northern Harvest....all fine diluting agents.
