Color me pessimistic, but as long as our Troglodyte of a coach remains in place, this move is purely fan candy............ ie, meaningless!

Speaking of "fan candy"; how about calling up John Scott. put him in front of the opposition net and say "don't move" (other than to duck from PK's shots). we will not win unless we stop with the perimeter play -- we aren't scoring sniper goals, we need to score dirty goals . . . and Gally can't carry the team.

Seriously, NOW is the time to put Scott in the line-up. He's running on a high. We know he can play 3 on 3 (if only we could get to 3 on 3) and he handle all sorts of pressure. He's also a great team-mate by all accounts. I'd give him some 4th line duty and some PP time in front of the net. If the PP doesn't score then we are no worse off.
