I can't believe we are on page two of the "Favorite Movies" thread, and not one of you - NOT ONE!!! - has mentioned either one of my two favorite movies. That's right, my TWO favorite movies have gone unmentioned here. And no, there are no X's following their titles.
Big stars, too, in these movies. First one starred Cary Elwes (Men in Tights), Robin Wright (Forrest Gump), Mandy Patinkin, Andre the Giant, Billy Crystal, Fred Savage (yes, Fred Savage), Peter Faulk and Carol Kane. An absolute classic.
Second one starred Kevin Spacey (who won an Oscar for his role here), Gabriel Bryne, Stephen Baldwin, Benicio del Toro, Kevin Pollack, Chazz Palminteri and Dan Hedaya (Carla's husband Nick, on Cheers). Brilliant movie.
You all probably won't like the first one (takes a strange kind of person to list it as one of his favorite movies), but the second one was fantastic, in my opinion. Have yet to meet anyone who has seen it, and who wasn't blown away by it. Kevin Spacey rocks.

Oh sure BadOne, we all waited to see The Princess Bride. Absolute classic (not). You need help here son. *laughs* On the other hand, The Usuall Suspects was a pretty good movie. Keyser Soze is still at large. movieweb.com/movie/planetapes/co1.jpg

I was never really all that impressed with "The Usual Suspects". Oh sure it had a great twist ending, but i found the first two thirds of the movie to be only so-so. I know alot of people love this film....but it just never did it for me!

Shawshank Redemption is my fave. I'm surprised no one has mentioned Slapshot!
Great list, HA. Just got The Hustler for Christmas. Its been years since I've seen it, I loved the Color of Money as well (I play pool 3-4 times a week).
