Some people don't seem to adhere to what is, to me, the biggest lesson in statesmanship of the 20th century: that the worst peace is better than the best war. ie, war should always be a last resort.

(I'd like to say that if anyone is boneheaded, idiotic, ignorant and ill-informed enough to bring up 9/11 as a justification for the current Iraqi war, then they'll be showing that they don't understand that the war that was "forced" upon the US was the one in Afghanistan. However, that would be a pre-emptive strike and since I'm trying to show that these are immoral, I won't say all that. )
