habprospects.com/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=87A great article by a fellow and well respected poster named Montreal. He brings up some good points of where the Habs are successfully drafting their propects and where we could improve. Timmons done a great job but it seems we could invest in some more scouting in the Sweden and Finland market as we have no prospects in thoughs regions. To be honest I can't think of any Swedish propect or Finnish propect (besides Koivu)that ever worked out for us. Quote: "Timmins staff has not had much luck in drafting from Finland and Sweden so far as three of the four players they picked are no longer in the organization" Same can be said for Czeh Republic and Slovakia. Detriot has been very good for a long time and beening successful in these markets ,especially Sweden, has helped them huge. They have a few steals in the playoff roster right now and the Red Wings have just signed another very promising free agent prospect in Finnish LW Ville Leino.
