OH MY (athiest) GOD! Where and when can I hire this guy? Bathroom breaks? Thing of the potty past. Early work stoppage? Not on their broken bones. Sick day? It's pain day next day! And to think that I was tough......

I like the Invesco/Trimark ad that shows Gretzky setting up The Rocket for a goal. Looks pretty cool.

I'm a big fan of the current Dr. Pepper ad with kelsey grammar in it. I loved Frasier. Love the ad (but not enough to actually buy the product).

Isn't that it, RS: ads can be totally entertaining but if they don't inspire you to try/buy they have failed.
There's a lot of money spent so that you feel bad enough about yourself that you buy a product to feel better about yourself.

There's a lot of money spent so that you feel bad enough about yourself that you buy a product to feel better about yourself. Well in this case, Dr. Pepper is just disgusting. Simple as that. A case where an ad actually got me to buy something was the "Most Interesting Man In The World" commercials by Dos Equis. As it turns out, it's just an awful, awful beer. However I usually reward companies that put together entertaining ad campaigns by at least trying their product.

We have a Nissan, thank goodness And Dis, that "use condoms" ad, LOLtastic! Thanks Val. Franko's just killed me too. Well ... maybe not me but ... I found this one a while back. Some parents just naturally have it I guess. Vicks, Mother of the year!

The "Snickers" commercial with Betty White (88) and Abe Vigoda (89). While some may find it to be "age-ism".....both White and Vigoda participated willingly.
The editing is top-notch.....well-written and directed....even though the insinuated claim is bogus. One bite of a Snickers bar is hardly going to make you play 60 years younger.
For comedic purposes....it hit the mark, IMO.

Unrelated to the topic...but to Abe Vigoda in the commercial I posted. Abe’s brother, Bill, was a comic book artist for the Archie franchise (and other features) from the early 1940s til his death in 1973. I had no idea Archie went back that far. 1941/42. Bill Vigoda
