Tomas should get talking to Jaromir and get him in a Habs Jersey ..... Hey JJ, wouldn't it be cool if we could play in the NHL on the same team .... say I know, how about Montreal?I would *die* if JJ ended up playing for the Habs Trivia question:Without looking it up, who played the most regular season games last year, 2008-2009, for the Habs? And for the heck of it, out of these two players, who played more rsg: Saku Koivu or Mike Komisarek? I didn't look it up .... and I would guess Latendresse. And Saku - Mike was injured last year I believe EDIT: ... I hate being wrong, especially when I should have known Saku was injured too and Lats as well ... myshort term memory aint the best obvisouly Two correct answers huh?

Saku had 65, Komisarek had 66. Did you look at the rest of the chart, or only the stats for Lats, Saku and Mike? If you only looked up those guys, and I'm thinking you didn't try again for your two correct answers

There are only a couple guys I remember not getting injured last year, and they are Hamrlik, Gorges and Plekanec. It ought to be one of them, or maybe Kostopoulos?

I really don't remember them getting injured at all last season. Kosto missed a few games if I recall, but not sure if it was injury, suspension (was it last year he got some games for that hit in TO?) or sitting in the press box. As for Pleky, I am trying to wipe out most of my memories of his season last year to focus on the positives of this season.

Trivia question: Without looking it up, has Markov ever played an entire regular season for the Habs?

Yeah, I think he played all of the 07-08 season when the Habs finished 1st.

Yeah, I think he played all of the 07-08 season when the Habs finished 1st. Correct! Trivia question:Without looking it up, who on the current roster has played for the most teams, not including ours? [Did that make sense? It made sense in my head...] Bonus points if you can name all the teams he's been on

It would probably be Metropolit, and he's played for Atlanta, Boston, Philly, Montreal, and played in Washington before the lockout. There might be another team or two in there somewhere, too.

Metro, with 7 teams (one twice): 1999-2001 Capitals (30, 15) 2001-2002 Lightning (2) 2001-2003 Capitals (33, 23) 2006-2007 Thrashers (57) 2006-2007 Blues (20) 2007-2008 Bruins (82) 2008-2009 Flyers (55) and then he came over to the right side [Bolded the teams you missed] Jaroslav Spacek comes in second with 6 teams (one twice): 1998-2000 Panthers (63, 82, 12) 2000-2002 Blackhawks (50, 60) 2002-2004 Blue Jackets (14, 81, 58) 2005-2006 Blackhawks (45) 2005-2006 Oilers (31) 2006-2009 Sabres (65, 60, 80) And because I thought this was a hilarious name for a team, this is where Spacek spent part of a season: 1998-1999 Beast of New Haven-AHL (14) For some odd reason, before I looked it up, I thought it was Marc-André, but he's only been with 4 teams [tied with Paul Mara and Roman Hamrlik].

Trivia question:Without looking it up, name two players whose +/- and PIM stats are almost identical. I know that phrasing is ambiguous, so what I'm looking for is a player whose +/- and PIM stats are almost identical. Then another player whose +/- and PIM stats are almost identical. And we're not talking +10 and 15 PIM here either. And their stats are nowhere near to each other either, if that made any sense. They are both retired, if that helps any

I am not sure how anyone on here knows PIM and +/- stats without looking them up ... but I do know that Guy Lafleur's career +/- is over 400 ... and no clue as to his PIMs.
Larry Robinson is a career +800 or more ... again no clue as to PIMs
EDIT: Looked up Robinson ... +700 with 706 PIMs
EDIT: Steve Shutt +409 with 400 PIMs ...
Without a definition of "almost identical" there could be more

For some odd reason, before I looked it up, I thought it was Marc-André, but he's only been with 4 teams [tied with Paul Mara and Roman Hamrlik]. Why on earth would you think that? Does he strike you as a player whom GMs would want to move often once they have witnessed his Savardian splat-a-rama?

I know Smolinski played on 8, but there has to be guys who played on more teams in their career, with one of them being the bleu-blanc-rouge.

Sillinger is the player in the NHL who's been on the most teams, 12. For the Habs, it's a tie between J.J. Daigneault and Jim Dowd, who've each been on 10. Tie goes to the dude with a Stanley Cup ring, if you ask me. www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/players/most_teams.html

No Habs connection there, but just an interesting tidbit.

I am fully aware of it, I simply choose to ignore it. *** Okay, just for fun... How many penalties are we getting in tonight's game? The reason for this question? I'm not around tomorrow and the right answer is obvious without having to PM anyone So take a guess, and remember, Skilly is your guest host tomorrow! *** My guess: 5

Okay, let's talk about another stat...plus/minus.
The Big Bird holds two teams records, highest career +/- with the Habs (+700) and highest +/- in a season (+120).
Only 157 players have a career negative +/- with the team (since they started calculating and using that stat). Only 45 with a career number of -10 or worse.
Who has the worst career +/- with the Habs and who has the worst season +/-?
