Okay, let's talk about another stat...plus/minus. The Big Bird holds two teams records, highest career +/- with the Habs (+700) and highest +/- in a season (+120). Only 157 players have a career negative +/- with the team (since they started calculating and using that stat). Only 45 with a career number of -10 or worse. Who has the worst career +/- with the Habs and who has the worst season +/-? I know one ... cause I was interested when a certain someone was criticized for his plus minus ... the worst in a career is Brian Savage. The other I will guess. I'll say Souray, cause he had a worse +/- than the player I refered to above that year.

I guess most of those came after Hallowe'en. Sheldon holds two silver medals. Second worst career +/- with the Habs and second worst in a season. There was another player that had a -31 one season, Shelly only managed -28 at his peak.

Val asked me to keep the trivia thread running today ... and in the true spirit of Val's obscuirty (lol... just kidding Val ..really .. ) I tried to come up with a non-statistical question ... so here goes ... What Montreal Canadien, while participating at the World Championships, tried to lighten the mood in the locker room by pretending to be an alien, and accidentally popped his ear-drum? BONUS QUESTION What former Montreal player did I name my first pet (a cat) after? HINT: He played in 5 all-star games HINT#2: He was drafted twice.

Val's last question is obviously Brisebois, who I thought might have been the answer before the pretty clear clue. For the bonus question, I'll guess Bob Gainey which is an honest to goodness pure guess. I have no recollection of an "alien" incident at the WC.

You named the cat Larry? Or Robinson? The LA Kings clue was obvious I would have thought he'd been to more than 5 All-Star games, though. I think Shutt would be an awesome name for a dog.

Val's last question is obviously Brisebois, who I thought might have been the answer before the pretty clear clue. I'm confused... Brisebois? When was I thinking of Brisebois? What question is he the answer to? Because, trust me, Brisebois hasn't been on my mind since last season

HINT 2: His brother also played for the Habs HINT 3: "Big 3" Larry Robinson? CORRECT!!!! Lafleur was injured, and a few days later Robinson got injured in a freak incident. Robinson saw that the team was down in the dumps with the loss of he and Lafleur, so to lighten the mood he walked into the dressing room with two of those over sized medical Q-tips in his ears declaring he was an alien .... unfortunately he shoved them in too far and let out a yell of pain when the eardrum popped. Ok ... two last hints. My cat's name was "Eli" and the Montreal player was a baseball player.

Hit a homerun in his first at bat.
