If they miss the show, questions/speculations have been raised concerning whether or not he may ask to be traded. That's what I'm hearing on the radio, anyway. Of course....he can't wait to be a Leaf! If he wants to win, I doubt very much if either Toronto or Montreal would be on his list. ================ I would hope that Gauthier would be a player, though, if it happened.

I'm a little concerned about how much gas he has left in the tank. He may well be revitalized in a new market, but I'm concerned about him being the go to guy. He's paid like one, but I'm not sure he's got enough left to be THE guy.

I like Iginla, but his best years are behind him. Same for Lecavalier. Lecavalier money for Stamkos production, not the other way around? Teams are built around young hard working skilled players, not ageing veterans with excuses for the dropoff in their production. Give guys like Subban a chance. Send Fisher to Hamilton for a few years. He may be ready for the NHL before he turns 40. Under Houle the team washed out to sea in a rip-tide. Under Gainey we treaded water for 6 years. Under Timmons we drafted talent instead of production. We sent a lot of good coaches to other NHL teams. Grrrrrrrrrr.................
