they’re not waitingThe Phoenix Coyotes have traded forward Wojtek Wolski to the New York Rangers for defenceman Michal Rozsival.
Rozsival has three goals and 12 assists in 32 games so far this season for the Rangers.
Wolski has registered six goals and 10 assists in 36 games on the season for the Coyotes.
Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney has previous experience with Rozsival and is pleased to add him to his roster. "I know Michal well from my time with the Rangers in New York," said Maloney. "He is an intelligent, puck moving defenseman who can play heavy minutes against good players. He will make our strong defense even better."
Wolski was originally selected as the Colorado Avalanche's first round pick, 21st overall, of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
Rozsival was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the fourth round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft.
This trade saves the Rangers $1.2 million in cap space.they keep this up there'll be nothing happening trade deadline day

Interesting move on the part of the Coyotes. They've got a lot of bodies on the blue line as it stands. Wolski looked like a guy that might become a dominant scoring forward, but has failed to be more than a second liner - sounds familiar. He's now been traded twice in a year.
This moves seems like a replacement for Frolov, but imo the Rags are pretty thin on D. With Roszival gone, they're relying on Staal, Girardi, Gilroy, Eminger, Sauer, and McDonaugh. Roszival is a pretty reliable guy, and great shot blocker.
