Meh, Calgary is just making Cap space for Gomez. As funny as it sounds, I think he and Iggy would work well together.

I always thought that Minny won the trade, and if Lats plays a game this year it becomes definite . . .

Minny still has Latendresse, so he has produced and will continue to produce more for Minny than Pouliot will for us

Turris has officially come out and asked to be traded. We'll see if that lights a fire under Maloney, or the suitors.

Turris signs a two year $2.8 million deal today. For that amount and term, it almost seems anti-climactic. Hard to say whether or not the deal means he actually stays in Phoenix, or if the deal was inked so that he could actually be traded.

Teams probably didn't want to touch him until he was signed.

Can't remember if it was the coach or the gm, but Yotes-ville had stated that they had no intention of trading him, they wanted him to play for them. Must be nice to be making that kind of $ at 22. I'm in the wrong business. So is my husband... dang, I *knew* I should have married a hockey player

Not sold on Turris but as far as cap relief this would be a coup...not likely but if Turris is dealt it'll be after he's played a good dozen games or so.
