I'm not sure what the cost would be for Nash, but some salary would have to be moved beforehand.
Expensive deal landing this guy. Not only our first + whatevever/whomever, etc, but I'd also ask, how would adding Nash's salary affect negotiations with PK, Price and Eller, all of who are RFAs?
Love to land this guy, but it's a tough call.
Cheers.

Nash will be 28 this weekend. He makes our Top 6 better immediately and for 6 years to come....and is closer to our core in terms of prime. If he's in the mix, maybe we CAN compete with DD and Pleks as 1 and 2. Pacioretty-DD-Cole Nash-Pleks-Gionta I'd throw out that work ethic and heart against most teams. I would add skill to that. An awful lot of skill on those 2 lines. We would no longer be a 1 line team. You have to pay to get and I would have no probs with that contract, Nash has been a stud for years and he would buy us time to draft and develop top six forwards since we seem to be thinner in that position than D men.
